***Simone's POV ***

Life is a gamble. You win some, you lose some. I have lost Trey and maybe Ramon too but life goes on I guess. I sat at Samantha's grave with my chin on my knees thinking. What if she wasn't dead? Would I have met Trey? Would Ramon and I be friends? Would Samantha and Josh be dating secretly behind my back?

The video was vivid in my mind. How could Josh and Samantha be having sex without me knowing about it. Why couldn't they tell me? I know I would be angry at first but I would eventually get over it.

I sighed.

The wind blew and ruffled a piece of paper that was lying on the ground. I absentmindedly took it up and started folding it. There was something written on it......actually typed.

I looked at the car that ran you over and it's almost fully repaired. Thank you for not letting the police find me.....and the wedding was beautiful. I know you would have loved to attend it. I miss you Samantha. I'm sorry for killing you.

This must be some kind of joke. I need to tell someone about this.....but who should I tell?

Josh. He borrowed my math book that had the first note in it and when he gave it back it was missing. Could he have taken it? Did he know who killed my sister? I couldn't let my mind think like that. Josh was my best friend, he wouldn't hide anything from me. But then again, he hid the fact that he had sex with Samantha and made a video of it. Maybe Samantha broke up with him and he got jealous.....so jealous that he killed her.

Ramon was the only person I could talk to right now but he is really upset with me.

I knocked on his door and when he opened it and saw it was me, he rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Uhm. I just came to collect my stuff." I said weakly.

He stepped aside allowing me entrance and I went up to his bedroom.

"Simone are you ok?" he asked as he watched me pack my things.

"I'm great." I responded. All I could think about was the note.

"What is that?" Ramon asked when he saw the piece of paper in my back pocket. "Did Trey write you a love letter?" Sarcasm dripped from his voice.

I didn't answer him.

"Come on. You can tell me about your boyfriend. I can see that you like older guys."

"He's not my boyfriend anymore." I muttered.

"Yeah right." Ramon said and grabbed the note from my pocket.

"Hey give that back. That's private!" I shouted but of course he didn't listen to me.

I watched his expression change from jealously to concern as he read the note.

"W-where did you get this?"

I sighed. "I found it at Samantha's grave."

Ramon sat on his bed and I sat beside him.
"So the killer wrote this......Simone this is evidence. We have to show the police."

"But this doesn't prove anything. The killer didn't leave their name." I said.

"We need to figure it out. The killer either went to a wedding or got married recently...." Ramon said thoughtfully.

There was only one person that came to my mind. "Trey!" I said.

"Trey what?"

"Trey got married recently so he must be the killer." My heart was pounding like a thousand drums. How could he. "I'm going to kill him!!" I clenched my fist and my body shook with anger.

"Simone. Calm down. We don't know if he did it." Ramon tried to calm me.

Things were getting clearer to me now. It wasn't a coincidence that we met right after the funeral.....he knew about my sister without me telling him.....he stayed at my house night and day as a security guard. So all this time he was just trying to distract us from himself.

I got up. I needed to confront him again. I needed him to confess. I needed to hear him with my own two ears to believe that he killed Samantha.

"Where are you going?" Ramon asked as he held on firmly to my hand.

"To kill Trey." I told him and he smiled.

"Well in that case you're going to need someone to help you dispose of the body." Ramon chose this moment to make a joke and I couldn't stop myself from smiling.

*****
There were two police men guarding Trey's room when we arrived.
"What happened?" Ramon asked one of the officers.

"This patient is under police guard. He has been arrested."

Arrested? So the police finally found Samantha's killer? My ex-boyfriend killed my sister? I felt tears rolling down my face as memories of Trey and I flooded my memory.

"Where is my husband?!" I heard a familiar voice shouting at the receptionist. It a few moments, Daisy was at Trey's room talking to the police.

"What is happening?" she demanded.

"Your husband is under arrest for wire fraud and bigamy. We called you several times but couldn't reach you."

"I know. My phone was off. I was collecting my husband's car from the repair shop..... Officer did you say bigamy?" Daisy placed her hand on her chest in disbelief.

"Yes ma'am. He's currently married to someone else and he has been embezzling money from your accounts."

Daisy couldn't take it. Her legs gave way and she fainted. Trey was watching from inside the room and when he saw two nurses rushing to Daisy's aid, he began laughing.

I gasped. How could he be so heartless?

"Officer we think he might be a killer too." Ramon said handing the note over to the police officer.

They both looked at it thoughtfully. "Where did you get?"

"I found it at my sister's grave, sir." I told the officer.

They decided to keep the note as they continued their investigation. I looked in on Trey. He looked completely calm and relaxed, making me wonder if he really was the killer. I know he hurt me but I don't think I can ever truly hate him.
