***Simone's POV***
I slowly pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Could this be real? I felt like I was in a movie or a novel.
We were on a beach, the seawater shimmering under the moonlit sky. There was a blanket laid out on the sand, with champagne, chocolate, sandwiches..... Around the blanket were four lit candles securely put halfway in the sand.
A candle-lit picnic on the beach.
I could hardly breathe. I was so surprised I didn't even know what to say.
"W-wow! Trey. This is so so romantic." I finally said, still in awe.
"I did it all for you. You said we couldn't go out in public so.....I decided we should have some private time." He smiled, showing off his glistening white teeth.
I felt so stupid for thinking he was a killer.
"Well. Have a seat my lady." Trey said with a Southern accent, gesturing me towards the blanket.
I went and sat down and he sat beside me and poured two glasses of champagne.
"A toast. To the most beautiful girl in the world agreeing to be with an ugly guy like me. May we grow old together..." He held up his glass to me.
I smiled. "You're not that ugly. Cheers. " Our glasses clanged as we stared at the stars. This is awesome. I felt so loved.
"Who's Ramon?" Trey asked suddenly.
"Uhm...he's someone from school. We went to the ball together." I answered nervously.
"So why did he kiss you?"
"It was just a casual peck on the cheek. Can we not talk about that right now?" I sounded really defensive.
Trey exhale audibly. "Ok babe." He agreed with me.
"What's your surname Trey?" I asked timidly.
Trey smiled.
"You don't have to worry bae. My surname isnt Channer. We're not related at all."
"I know but I just realized that I don't really know your last name....." I trailed off as Trey leaned over and started kissing me....like I was oxygen and he couldn't live without me.
We ate and chatted about almost everything. Time seemed to stand still as reminisced about our childhood. I tried by best to leave out Samantha, not wanting Trey to ask questions about her death.
The candles were almost burnt out by now which means it was almost morning. I looked at my phone.
4:01 am. I haven't slept all night.
"Lets take a walk on the beach." Trey suggested.
We walked in silence for a while, enjoying the breathtaking view. Trey stopped and turned to face me. Taking my hand in his, he looked deep into my eyes. "Simone you're amazing." He told me.
"You're amazing yourself." I replied.
He initiated a kiss. While our tongues were fighting each other I felt Trey's hands tightened around my back. His lips found their way to my neck and a moan escaped from my lips. "Treeey....."
My hand found the nape of his neck as we continued our lustful kissing. I felt my blouse going over my head but I didn't protest. I was too wrapped up in the moment. We stopped to catch our breaths and I looked at Trey in the moonlight. He was completely naked. I have no idea how he managed to do that in such a short time. He must practice a lot with other girls.
"Trey. What are we doing?" I asked nervously.
He came closer to me, giving me a short, soft kiss on the lips. His hands went down to my shorts and before I knew it I was naked to. Trey started kissing me again. He took me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Babe." He whispered into by ears breathing heavily.
"Yea?" I answered almost out of breath.
"Ever heard of skinny dipping?"
Before I had the chance to answer, I felt the cold sea water on my skin. I let out a blood curling scream and Trey began laughing.
"That's not funny!" I slapped him on the arm.
"It actually was. You're facial expression was priceless." He tried to control his laughter.
"I'm going home." I started to leave but the current of the water caused me to topple. Trey caught me. He held me from behind and I closed my eyes trying to enjoy the moment.
We watched the sun rising. It was picture perfect. My mom loved these scenes. Oh my God! My mom.
"Trey. My parents are going to think I'm missing. "
"Just call them and tell them you're with me. We haven't had breakfast yet." He said, pouting.
We wadded out of the water and went to dry off. Trey stared at me, his jaws dropping to his feet. "Thank God for the sunlight. I can see heaven." He smirked and I quickly clothed myself.
He packed up his things but left the candles in the sand.
"Simone, have you seen my knife? Trey asked."
"I was too busy kissing you." I retorted.
"No worries. I'll just buy another one." He said.
In a few minutes we were on his bike again going home. I smiled as the previous events played in my mind.
"Trey. I enjoyed our date." I told Trey as we neared my house.
"I did too." He smiled as I dismounted.
I watched him ride away with a smile still plastered on my face. I glanced at my phone. It was 5:45. I hurriedly walked home, hoping that no one was awake as yet.
I tiptoed up to my room. The house was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I quietly opened my door and let go of a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
Finally time to get some sleep. I changed into something comfortable and before I could count to ten, I was fast asleep.
