As Naruto and Hinata had a casual conversation, while walking toward their chemistry class, she began to wonder why she had suddenly became so comfortable around the boy she had just met. Attractive boys usually made her uncomfortable, but whenever Naruto smiled at her, it gave her a sense of ease. When they finally got to their class, he held the door open for her, and as soon as they walked into the room, it grew quiet. Hinata blushed, while Naruto broke the silence by saying, "Have you guys not seen a pretty girl before?" His voice made them quickly turn around in their seats.

Hinata followed him to a table in the back of the classroom, "You really didn't have to do that, Naruto." She spoke while looking at him,
"I did, there's nothing more annoying then staring." Right as the bell rang, Neji and TenTen walked in, and Hinata noticed that her new friend's cheeks were flustered, as she wore her beautiful bright smile on her face.
Hinata scoffed as she saw her cousin staring at TenTen's backside, while she walked in front of him. Once he looked up, he noticed Hinata, and sat at the table in front of her and Naruto.

"Hi, Niisan." She smiled at him, he smiled back before looking at Naruto, who was pulling things out of his bag. He was about to say something, when the teacher arrived. "Sorry I'm late, class." She said while sighing. "Punctuality isn't a thing here, as you can see." Naruto joked, making her laugh a little.
The teacher's naturally red colored eyes met her's, and instead of scolding Hinata for her laughter like she assumed she would, she smiled politely.

"You must be one of the new students from Sanu? It's nice to meet you." Hinata flashed her smile back at her. "It's nice to meet you too."
"Today we will be discussing periodic trends."

When the end of the school day came along, Sakura and Hinata walked out of the front doors, while talking about their after school plans. "Naruto's having a party Friday night, you should come." She said, making Hinata shrug. "I don't know, those aren't usually my thing." Sakura whined playfully, "You're just saying that because you've never been to Konoha party." Hinata laughed a little,
"If you say so, do you think he'd mind if Neji came?"
"Neji's welcome too." She smiled before pulling her phone from her back pocket, "Here's my number so you can text me the details." She nodded before saying, "Well bye, Hinata. See you tomorrow."

Sakura said with a smile as she walked to her expensive car that was parked in the parking lot, "Bye, Sakura." Hinata continued walking to Neji's car, where he leaned against it, while talking to Sasuke. A few feet behind her, Naruto grabbed her by the elbow, and forced her to turn around. Looking up, into his familiar blue eyes, she smiled at him,
"Y-yes?"
"Um... I wanted to ask you something."
He said, getting nervous while scratching the back of his neck. She wanted to giggle at his cuteness, when she noticed that scratching the back of his neck was a habitat he had when he was anxious. "What?"
"Can I have your number?"

She was a little thrown off, considering guys didn't typically ask didnt ask her that, and as she blushed it made him anxious.
"U-um y-yeah. Of course." She said with a small smile, making him pull out his phone before she put her number in it. He smiled, "Thanks, Hime, I'll text you later."
"I'd like that, bye Naruto." She said before turning around and heading toward her cousin, who was now talking to some girl with red hair.
"Let's go, Neji." Hinata said, the girl giggled and said "Bye, Neji-kun."

"What was that between you and Naruto? You never talk that much, even to me." Hinata shrugged, "We were just talking, and you're one to talk. You were just flirting with a girl, after doing the same with TenTen."
"I wasn't flirting." He said while pulling into the parking lot or Hanabi's school. Hinata rolled her eyes, "Sure you weren't, Neji-kun." She mocked, making him laugh.

Their conversation was cut short as Hanabi opened the rear door, "How was your day?" Her sister asked, "Good, Oneesan." She answered, and they all could tell she didn't mean it. Hinata turned around in her seat, "What happened?" She asked her sister, making her look into her almost identical eyes.
"This boy! He said my eyes are ugly, and that I'm short."
"Want me to beat him up?" Neji asked, making Hanabi laugh a little, "I already did." Hinata face palmed in disappointment, while Neji high fived her. "Don't do it again, Hanabi, you don't fight every guy who picks on you."
