"Hi, Hinata!" Ino said as Hinata walked into first period. "Hey, Ino."
"You should come with us to the game after school, it's going to be lots of fun."
"Maybe? I have a lot of homework." She said, and the girl nodded "Well if you finish in time, you should definitely come by."
"Are you okay? You seem a little off."
Ino asked her friend. "Just didn't get enough sleep." She answered truthfully, trying not to wince at her intense stomach pain.
"Talking to Naruto all night?" She joked while wiggling her eyebrows, and winking at Hinata.
She laughed before shaking her head, "I wish."

"Mine!" Sakura yelled hitting the ball back to the boys. In their gym class, they were playing a friendly game of volleyball against the boys.
Although Hinata was having fun, she noticed her friends had began to take it seriously as they were both one point away from winning.
Just as they all thought that her shot was going to be a point, Kiba dove to the floor, before hitting it upward, so that Naruto could jumped and spike it.
To his dismay, Hinata thought quickly and managed to jump high enough to block his hit, and make it land back to the ground.

The girls cheered her on, while the boys team yelled at Naruto. "I know she's pretty, but Naruto! You could've killed that!" Although she didn't know what the big deal was, Hinata celebrated with her team. As she smiled and laughed with them, she got a strong ache in her side from her rapid breathing. Biting her lip while stretching her side, she tried to mask it well.

"You should try out for the volleyball team." Sakura said, making Hinata laugh a little while shaking her head, "I suck honestly."
"Suck? Not only did you block that, but it was from Naruto! That says something, Hinata." Ino said, and she just shrugged in nonchalance, "It was a lucky shot." Sakura rolled her eyes, "You're good, Hina. If you don't try out, I'll die. Literally I'll just drop dead." She exaggerated, making Hinata laugh. "When are they?"
She smiled brightly, "In two weeks."
~
"That was a lucky block." Naruto said walking alongside Hinata as they walked to their class.  "Sore loser much?" His cheeks became flustered, "N-no I'm not. It was just a lucky shot! I'll bet you can't do it again."
"Bet I can." She said while laughing, and jokingly sizing him up. The pair stared at each other with cute smiled on their faces, as their bodies pressed against each other's.

Hinata tried to keep a serious face, but she giggled when Naruto did. "Let's get to class."
She spoke before walking in front of him, only for him to gently pull her backpack in his direction, before putting his arm over her shoulders. His cologne engulfed her as she subconsciously snuggled into his embrace.
The pair gained themselves attention as they walked through the hallways, but she surprisingly didn't care. She felt safe with him, and after the night she had, she knew that she deserved that feeling.
~
Showing their IDs to the counter as they passed through the gate to get into the stadium. Ino, Sakura, and Hinata all walked toward the student section of the bleachers.
"Is Naruto any good?" She asked as the three of them watched the boys warm-up. It was a little windy as she only wore a long sleeved shirt in the cold fall air, and she wanted to face palm as she watched the sun go down.

"Is he? Naruto is the fastest guy out there."
Ino answered, making her nod before looking at him as he stretched his legs, while laughing with his teammates. "Sasuke!" Sakura yelled while waving the sport's drink she had for him. Once she gained his attention, he looked at her, and flashed a smile her way. Which surprised Hinata, while Sakura blushed. Hinata watched as he gave the football he was holding to a guy that stood next to him, before coming up the bleachers toward the group of girls. He smiled again at her, before saying, "Thanks Sakura. I owe you."

She blushed and waved him off, "It's no problem, goodluck out there." Both of her friends cooed as her cheeks heated up even more. He smiled one last time, before one of the teams managers called him over.
A few minutes passed, and Sakura laughed at Ino as she gawked over boys, while Naruto waved Hinata over to where he stood. She knew that he should've been warming up, but as he looked down at her with his contagious smile, while his hands held the collar of his jersey, he didn't seem to care.
