Chapter Nineteen

The next morning, Hinata and her friends all walked into the gymnasium, wanting nothing more than to be home. With their team trailing them, Sakura and Hinata decided to cut their warm up laps short, before stretching in a group. As they stretched, coach Kurenai called Sakura and Hinata over.
"Good morning, Ladies," They smiled as she continued, "How are you both doing?"
"Good coach, and you?" She yawned with a smile, "I'm pretty tired. Maybe it's the baby, I don't know." Sakura asked, "How far along are you?"
"28 weeks today." She said and Sakura and Hinata nodded while cooing. "Well I must say you have the pregnant lady glow." Sakura said truthfully, Kurenai did seem more happy, and it was very noticeable to everyone.

"Thank you, Sakura." She said blushing.
"So I called you guys over here because I wanted to tell you that coach Anko and I, decided that you two will be our team captains." Sakura smiled, while Hinata grimaced to herself. Why me of everyone? Ino, or TenTen would've been a much better choice.
"Thank you coach. We really appreciate it."
She said with a fake smile. Kurenai smiled, "You're welcome ladies. Hinata, can I talk to you a minute?" She nodded, as Sakura walked away with a bright smile on her face.

"I see that you're questioning why I picked you." She said, and she blushed nodding.
Am I that easy to read? "I saw how you have a kind spirit, and you're good with people.
Both Anko and I think that you and Sakura would be a good balance." Hinata nodded, seeing her point. Sakura was more of an outspoken, tell it like it is person, while Hinata was more reserved and patient person.
"I get it. Thanks for explaining it, and also picking me for captain." She said smiling, she smiled sweetly. "You're welcome Hina, now can you start the girls off with regular warm ups?"
She nodded, and did as she said.

After their long practice, the girls sat in a coffee shop after volleyball practice, deciding to have a girls day, while shopping for whatever. This was their first stop, before their shopping.
She drank her green tea, while they talked about their upcoming opponents.
"Shouldn't you know them Hina? You did go to Sanu." TenTen said, and Hinata shrugged. "We're gonna beat them, but try not to get any techs, they talk a lot of trash." She said and they nodded, "That's enough of volleyball for now, Hinata what are you getting Naruto for his birthday? It's only a week away."
Ino asked, and she shrugged her shoulders and said, "My plan is to ask Sasuke, because honestly? I have no clue. Every time I try to ask he shuts it down and says, all he need's is me." They all laughed, "Maybe that's what you should do." Sakura said with a wink, making her turn red and the girls giggle.

"But even if I do, that's a small gift." Hinata said, "You must not know how men work Hina, birthday sex is like a gift from the heavens." Temari said, and they all nodded.
"What's it like though? We've done things, but we always get interrupted before we go all the way."
"For one, he's having a party for his 18th, you guys could do it then. Secondly, everyone has a different experience. When I lost mine, I didn't think much about it." Ino said, "Was it with Sai?" TenTen asked, and she blushed, "No."
Temari cleared her throat, while drinking her tea. "Anyway, the first time will always hurt a little, but by the third time it'll feel a lot better." TenTen said, and  Sakura shrugged.
"Hina do you know that guy?" Asked Sakura looking at the guy who stared at Hinata. Glancing over her shoulder, she looked into turned around to meet a pair of pale eyes, that she knew all too well.

She hadn't seen him in months, and his gaze brought an ache to her stomach, while her skin got goosebumps. She blushed turning back to the girls, "Just an old friend." They all eyed her questionably. "Spill." She just drank her tea, "Let's get out of here?" She asked, and they grabbed their drinks and they walked out of the doors, then Temari felt around her pockets and groaned. "I left my keys." She turned back around while they stayed outside, the October winds had them shivering as they waited for Temari. When she finally came out, and unlocked her car as they all rushed into the sedan.
