Chapter Seven

  "Yeah, you two are always on the phone late at night." Hanabi said as she did her homework in the living room. Naruto laughed, "Well you don't listen in do you?"
"I wouldn't need to even if I wanted to, I hear Neji talk to girls enough to know about what older teens talk about." She said while shrugging, "And what might that be?" He asked with amusement clear on his face. "You know all types of stuff." She said continuing to write, "Like what? I mean we're all different."

"Stuff like Sex, drugs, music, school, finals, who's hot. Basically the same thing eighth graders talk about." She said shrugging, Naruto laughed wholeheartedly. While Hinata looked at her questionably as she thought, 'Eighth graders talking about sex? In eighth grade I was talking about High school musical.'
She just cleared her throat, "Anyways, we can go upstairs. Hanabi come get me if you need anything." Hinata said dragging him upstairs as he still laughed. She sighed before smiling slightly, "I can't believe my sister."
"She's a cool kid." Naruto said, "Anyway, let's get started."

They sat on her bed, showing each other flash cards in order to quiz the other on the topics. "What are alpha particles?" He asked. "Helium atoms that have lost their electrons, they are produced by uranium as it decays." Hinata said confidently, making him nod, "Correct."
"This is the last question, Uzumaki, are you ready?" She asked while smiling a little,
he nodded, "Give it to me, Hime."
"What is a solution?"

"Oh that's easy. A solution is a homogeneous mixture made up of two or more substances that do not chemically combine; Instead, the substances mix uniformly in the solution."
He said without thinking twice. "You are correct." She looked at the time, and she saw that it was getting kind of late. As they both put away their studying supplies he said,
"Thanks Hinata, I really needed the help."
"Did you really? Because you knew most of them." He laughed a little, "Okay, maybe I just wanted a study buddy." As he looked at her, he noticed the picture that sat on her nightstand. "Is this your mom?" He asked picking up the frame, "She's beautiful."

"This must be the locket?" He asked, as it hung next to picture. Hinata nodded before opening it, and with a smile.  "I remember this day like it was yesterday." He smiled, while she continued. "She was struggling to keep Hanabi in her dress, because she kept trying to unzip it. While Neji just had a timeout for pulling my hair." As she looked at the frame, she smiled while feeling a sense of nostalgia wash over her. "You look just like her. Wow."

"Thank you." She said as he sat it down, and looked at the other one. "Aww." He said while holding up a baby picture of her, making her blush as she tried taking it from him, only for him to move his arm higher.
"Gotta be quicker than that." They both laughed as she tried to jump for it, before realizing that he was too tall. Jumping on him, she wrapped her legs around his waist as she took it from his hands. He laughed, "You were an adorable kid." He said while still looking at it as she held it to her chest, until his ocean eyes met her lavender colored ones.

"Your eyes are so unique and beautiful."
He said, "They're white with specks of lavender. Can you get anymore gorgeous?"
Biting her lip, she leaned in and kissed his perfect ones. He pulled away slightly and looked into her eyes as her eyes gazed back into her's with her hooded eyelids. His lips parted to say something, but she cut him off by cupping his handsome face into her hands, and kissing him passionately.

Closing his eyes, he laid her back against her plush duvet. With her legs wrapped around his waist, and her fingers running through his hair, he felt like she wanted to take things further.
Knowing that them taking that step so earlier wouldn't be a good idea, he pulled away.
"Hime, I should get going." He said, even though his eyes said he wanted to stay.
She nodded, while looking at his lips one more time. "Okay, y-yeah." He parted his lips to say something, as his hand caressed her cheek, but he was interrupted by the sound of something falling and breaking, followed by Hanabi groaning.
