A Place to Call Home (On Hold)

Part 33 :"There's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

I know people would skip this part and jump right into the story, but first, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to update. (more than three months now?)

Part 33 :"There's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Elizabeth's P.O.V:

A lot of things happened once Michael put the beautiful ring on my finger.
As I was celebrating my engagement with everyone else in my room, which included light champange and a few snack, Ryan bursted in the room and made a famous announcement. 

"Guys we need to go back to the States immediately."

You know those really silent moments, i mean the really-really-silent-moment-that-you-can-hear-someone's-breathing, yeah we were having one, right after Ryan's single sentence. We all stopped whatever we were doing and stared at him like deer in the headlights. But it was so strange and completely weird that as the seconds tick-tocked by, thousands of questions were fired out at Ryan. Poor guy, speechless with his mouth hung open. Well his fault for dropping juch a big *ss bomb on us out of the blue.

"Say what?"

"Huh?"

"What's going on?"

"What the hell?"

"Why States?"

"Why now?"

"Did something happen?"
...

"Can I bring all this food with me?"
We all looked at Joey like he just grew another head on his shoulder.

"What? I love my food ok! even if you guys don't." He proudly replied without even a care about his manhood.

Ryan cleared his throat to call for our attention, and may I say he has a loud voice for such 12 years old kid.

"Before I can answer all of your questions, or most of them, I would like to update on my work about finding cure for Michael on his wolf and his mating bond. I have finally figured out a way to reverse the spell that Lauren put on Michael, but in order to successfully do that I need three items from my house back in State. I can't magically make them appear in front of me, because they are either too big or too heavy to be moved. So there you go, now, pack up!"

As soon as I absorbed in everything in his little speech, I ran straight to him and gave him a bone-crushing hug, followed by other people.

"OMG, I can't believe it. You are amazing!" came from Joey in high speech voice.

So here I am with Michael on my side, on the way back to our pack in Michigan. We rent an RV so it's easier for all of use to travel since we also have Lauren and Estelle with us. The plan is Joey will go with Ryan back to his house to retrieve the three items that we need once we get back to the pack house, so that Ryan can still control the witches until we lock them up securely.

How is Lauren and Estelle doing you might ask, well, to answer that question, right now they are both sleeping like a baby after Ryan gave them some magical drink that kind of 'deactivate' their body. It won't harm them ofcourse, but won't let them harm us.

As we are about to enter our Crimson Knights Pack's territory, Alex mindlinks Alpha Aaron Anderson to let him know we are here. It sucks that Michael can't mindlink anyone even the Alpha aka his dad cause he lost his wolf, but on the bight side, he won't be wolf-less much longer.

"Welcome home! I hope you guys aren't too tired for some homemade food." Alpha Anderson greeted us at the front porch.

Other pack members are gathering around him; their faces reflects pride and happiness since we updated to Alpha on what we accomplished so far. Among them, I can see aunt Anna and her mate the pack's Beta stand next to Luna Anderson, happiness radiates off them.

"Oh my babies are home safe and sound!" Aunt Anna gushes all of us into a group hug that make everyone else join in too.

It's so nice to be back.

Ryan's P.O.V in the newly equipped lab at Crimson Knights Pack:

Just few more hours then this ancient dragon scale can be put to use. I wonder how on earth these witches can get their hands on these stuff that are supposed to be extint a long time ago, but then again the are witches that we dealing with here.

The spell is quite easy to be reverse the difficult part is finding out what they put in the spell originally. If missing just one ingredient, the result can turn into a nightmare.
It's not just a normal love spell and wolf separation spell combine but they changed the two spells into one spell that has power of both but use some other ingredients such as the ancient dragon scale here.

The answers that i got from Lauren and Estelle didn't help much. Estelle as being a much older and more complicated witch so she has stronger resistant to not bend for my Truth magic potion. I got tricked by using a wrong kind of fox bones for the experiment, so what i had to paid was coughing out blood for twelve hours. I couldn't continue until it wore off, and I couldn't let anone know about it. If Lizzy know, she would either beat the crap out of Estelle or wouldn't let me experient the trial reverse spell on me.

So far I find out that this spell has dragon scale, two tails frog eggs, Arctic mountain lavender patels, grizzly bear's liver, white fox bone (note to self: not the red one or I would cough out blood again), three leaves gray oak root, Caucasian bee's honey, and rain water that stuck inside Amazon's wild flowers.

They all sound so crazy and out of this world but that's why they all combine to make such powerful spell that can separate wolf with its human and able to shatter the mate bond.

Thanks the Moon Goddess that I have all most all of them, and I can't tell why I have them yet, but first out of the three things that we have to go back to my house to collect is grizzly bear's liver. I buried it so I have to actually unlock the jar to get it myself.

The second thing is the dragon scale. I have trade in something valuable for it. And back at my place is where I can get the map to one of the oldest dragon hidden. Nobody really knows that dragon still alive, except for those whose use magic, such as witches, warlock, demon hunters, and special wolves like me.

The last thing is the ancient silver brew to combine and cook all the ingredients in. It's similar to a witch's pot but this brew that I have is much more valuable since it can speed up the processing time.

Now all I do is wait for the last part of the dragon scale to change color then I can begin on the first step of the reversing spell.

It's battle that I have to fight by mysef if I want to protect and save people that I love.
