Part 34: "We do not remember days. We remember moments."

Thank you for keeping up with A Place to Call Home, even though it was on hold for a while. Sadly the book will come to an end soon, probably one more chapters and epilogue.

Part 34:"We do not remember days. We remember moments."

Ryan's P.O.V:

Finally, the dragon scale's changed color at last; I've been waiting for almost five hours until now. As I add the scale to the rest, which is the last ingredient I need for this spell to work, the bubbling blue liquid in my magic brew starts to simmer down then freezes up completely then suddenly melts into crimson color liquid. Now the Reversing spell is finished. Or I believe so.

To be honest, I'm kind of nervous here; if somehow I missed just one ingredient or calculated wrong just an ounce of anything, well I'm screwed.

Just to make sure, I put on a Blocking spell for myself first before I experience the result of the Reversing spell. My Elder teacher, who I have to keep as a secret and also taught me magic for werewolf, warned me that I can only use blocking spell for three time in my life. This Blocking spell is really powerful - it can dissipate the effect of any spell if anything goes wrong with the spell itself . There for it will take up a lot of both, the energy from the human part and the spirit from the wolf part, of a werewolf who use this spell. The third which is also the last time I can be able to use this spell is when I have nothing left to live for; I think I'd be wise to save my final chance of using this Blocking spell.

This is my first time using this blocking spell. I know I should save all three chances and all, but Elizabeth means the world to me. She's the sister that I'm really glad I have, even though she's not blood related with me. She's been there for me since I was just a baby and she's continued to raise me when my mother and father weren't there for me at all. She treated me thousand time better than my own sister Brittney ever did. Now Elizabeth's mate is in trouble and i'm the only one who can save him, so If there's a way to save him and make my sister Elizabeth happy, I will do whatever it takes.

Here goes nothing!

I take a big gulp from the glass beaker that contain about one cup of the Reversing spell. It tastes totally disgusting, like I eat something rotten for a long time, but its smell is similar to honey and roses, that's a plus.

A few second later, I can feel my wolf stirs inside me, causing me want to turn to wolf form. That's an indication that my Reversing Spell works, because if it doesn't then one: nothing would happen to my wolf and i wouldn't have the urge to turn, two: the blocking spell will activate right away, by forming a giant magic bubble to block my human part and my wolf while dissipate the spell completely.

Now all I have to do is wait for a while for the magic from the spell to be gone in my body, then I can bring it to Michael.

Elizabeth's P.O.V:

"OMG! I don't think I can move." Joey grins at everyone while pats his tummy which is probably overflown with food.

"No sh*t Sherlock! You ate the whole party tray of sushi! Pig! You know the party tray means party right? And Party means more than one person but you were so greedy that you ate other people's share too!" Alex criticizes Joey's eating habit."Can't really blame me though. Mom's sushi is the best in the world!" Joey's mouth stretches from ear to ear.

"Kiss ass!" Alex remarks, earning him a playful slap behind his head from his mom, Anna whose eyes shine with happiness and love.

I'm enjoying family dinner with my mate Michael, Joey, Alex with his mate Katherine, Ariel with her mate Jacob, Anna and her mate uncle Brian, and last but not least Alpha Anderson and Luna Claire.

"So when is the wedding?" Anna asks while sending a wink toward my way. Ariel and Katherine giggle like school girls at that.

My cheeks immediately hit up and Michael chuckles and pulls me to his chest to that i can hide my face.

"You don't think we don't notice the gorgeous ring on your finger, do you? We'd be blind if we don't see how it makes every single shewolf in the pack jealous or admire about it." Luna Claire comments.

"Well that was what I kind of aiming for when I picked that ring." Michael puffs his chest out proudly, earning a round of high five from Alex, Joey, Beta Brian and Alpha Anderson. I shake my head and give him a jab in the stomach. Men and their egos.

"I was kidding!" Michael hugs me but the smug look is still on his face.

"Alright everyone, time for some family pictures! I want to capture with perfect moment of us!" Alpha Anderson takes out a black Canon DSLR while moving around to find the perfect angle to take some photos.

I can tell as well as anyone in the pack that Alpha Anderson, Micheal's father, is really proud of what we did. We not only were able to bring back Michael from the two powerful witches but also have found Alex's mate and further more prevented any vile acts from the witch that the werewolf population wasn't really aware of.

"Say cheese or whatever help show your teeth people!" Joey shouts out while grinning like a fool. Oh boy, whoever his mate is, I sincerely hope she has a really good tolerance for childish acts, 'cause we all know Joey can behave like a kid sometimes.

Ariel reaches over and flicks Joey's ear, earning a growl from him.

Gosh, I seriously love my family, all of them, dispite there flaws and all. Speaking of family, hope Ryan's experience is going well though, I've been worried about him ever since we flew back to the pack.

The two witches Lauren and Estelle are currently under one of Ryan's spell that help deactivate their magic for a while, but good thing that Alpha Anderson, has already prepared a holding cell when we were on the plane from England back here. The cell was borrowed from The Supernatural Magical Supreme Council, that designed for dealing with magic beings which make whoever in it lose their power and physically weak just like human.

Alpha Anderson has file a case against those two witches since Lauren took Michael away from us in the first place; now the Coucil will look over it and will decide what punishment will be place on them.

When I was little I heard my aunt told me little bit about the Supernatural Magical Supreme Council. It's a group of 20 Elders made up of different species such as werewolf, witch, warlock, vampire, fea, and some other beings that people thought they are just myths, who keep law and orders intact around the supernatural world. Nobody has ever since the whole 20 Councils, since they are very powerful and will draw too much unwanted attention to themselves; only ten Councils are available at a time if you need to file a case or if you need their help with pack business. They don't even let you know their real identity since Councils usually become targets for hunters and other evil beings. well there are more about them since they are supreme and all but that was all the informations I know from my aunt.

As we're about to be done taking our family pitures, Ryan walks in the room in all glory, wearing a bloody tshirt.
