Apparitions

Morning arose, the gods came by to where Greg and Guillermo were. Greg, Guillermo and Star were playing Cards Against Humanity, and laughing their asses off. "Humans are weird," Lightning said. "Personally, I think they're interesting," Fire said. They walk in the front door, and sit down with them. "Who called you?" Guillermo asked. "I did," Greg said. "I assume you've decided to fight with us," Lightning said. "On one condition," Greg said. "And what's that?" The two gods asked. "After this, they are left out of it," Greg motioned his hand toward Guillermo and Star. "You can call me for anything, not them," Greg said. "Greg, no," Guillermo said. "You two are all I have left, if both of you die, I'm gonna need them to kill me," Greg said. "This war is all we need help with, you will all be free after this," Lightning said. "Yeah, then you can go back to your normal lives," Fire said. "Okay, we agree to fight with you," Greg said. "I'm glad to hear it, we have something for you two," Lightning said. "Come over here," Fire said. Greg and Guillermo came, "Hold your dominant hand out," Lightning said. Guillermo held out his right, Greg held out his left. They both glowed and their hands produced another mark. The glow died, and they look at their hands. "You'll need them again, I guarantee that," Lightning said. "We'll keep tabs on you, but, you may want to make your way to Florida," Fire said. "Why?" Greg asked. "People with extreme power have been wreaking havoc throughout the state," Lightning said. "Now, we must leave." They disappeared. "The marks they gave us," Guillermo looked at his, Greg looked at his as well. They were both in the form of dragons. "Yes, they're back," Greg cheered. "Wait," Guillermo said. He picked up a piece of paper left on the ground. "I know you two are excited to see the dragons again, but, there is something you must know. While the dragons are yours to command, they will not be summoned as easily. Their energy now flows through you two, and can only be summoned at large increments of power. Which means, only extreme situations."
"Damn, that sucks," Greg said. "It pretty much means that their energy is our energy," Guillermo said. "Well, I think we know what to do now," Greg said. Greg packed up his things, Guillermo packed his and Star's. "Let's go home," Guillermo said.
