Storm clouds appeared over the horizon, bringing thunder and lightning to the battleground. It didn't seem to phase anyone though, they all stood, frozen yet firm. "You know, you two were the best at the tournament months ago," Lightning said. "Yeah, that was only after Connor threatened to kill our girlfriends," Guillermo said. "One of which he did, and my father," Greg said. "Well, then I bet you weren't expecting to deal with this," Fire said. Both Lightning and Fire started chanting in some weird language, sounded like Latin. This went on for a while, then Nat came to them her eyes now ice blue, and speaking in Latin. "Something's wrong, they're communicating," Guillermo said. Natalie turned and looked at them, dead in the eyes. "Reanimation doesn't only bring back the person, whoever does the process controls the person brought back," Lightning said. "And she brought you here, as we had planned," Fire said. Greg stood in disbelief, Guillermo was in anger, Star, angry as all hell. "Unfortunately, we have no use for you," Lightning said. "Kill them." Natalie charged at Greg, he dodged. "Natalie, don't do this," Greg said. "You don't give me orders," Natalie said. "Greg, you deal with the gods, I'll take her," Star said. Greg looked at Nat and Star, back and forth. He gave a reluctant nod, and went over to them. Star and Nat resumed fighting. Greg and Guillermo charged their elements, and dashed at the two gods. Greg and Lightning blasted back and forth, deflecting every blow and lightning bolt shot at them. Guillermo and Fire were busy shooting fire around them, causing the ground around them to erupt in fire. Guillermo's mark had spread throughout his body, and he dashed at Fire, keeping him on his toes.
Greg had been shooting lightning at his counterpart with little success. Lightning dashed at Greg, and kicked him in the face. He flew back and grabbed the ground, and he bounced back at him. Greg kicked Lightning to the floor, and was then grabbed by the foot. He was thrown into a building, and blasted by a lightning bolt. The smoke and debris cleared out, Greg laid on the ground, coughing blood. "You weak bastard of a child," Lightning said.
Guillermo blasted Fire and he landed on the ground. Guillermo looked over at where Greg was, and saw Lightning preparing a large blast. He dashed over to Greg, but, the blast got bigger by the second. "I won't be able to stop it," Guillermo said. Lightning raised his hand. "Fuck!!" Guillermo screamed. "Farewell, Greg," Lightning said as he blasted at him. Then, Greg was moved out of the way, thrown to be exact, and spared from the blast. He looked over and found who moved him. He wanted to break down and cry, but, he ran to his side and knelt beside him. Greg held Guillermo up with his one hand, and shed tears. "Don't cry for me Greg," Guillermo said. "Guillermo, why did you do that?" Greg asked. "Don't act stupid, you would've done the same thing," Guillermo coughed. "Besides, you're a father now, you need to be there for your child." Guillermo laughed and smiled, and he looked over at Star. "Please, take care of her for me," Guillermo said. Greg nodded, and cried more tears. "You don't need to be upset about this, Greg, I just want you to send me off," Guillermo closed his eyes. "Thank you," he said. "For everything." His last words for both Greg and Star.
