Morning arose, Greg, drained from the adrenaline, rose from the bed he was on. Grasping his arm, he got up and walked toward the bathroom. "Oh good, you're awake," someone said. He turned around, expecting Guillermo or Star, or both. He saw the girl who was supposedly his daughter. "I believe I owe you an explanation," she said. "You don't owe me it, but, it'd be nice," Greg said. He sat down, "Where did Guillermo and Star go?" Greg asked. "They went to grab food, and tape for your arm," she pointed at Greg's arm, which had been revealed as a hunk of metal. "I don't need the tape," Greg said. "Then why do you keep it like that?" She asked. "Would you show off a robot arm if you had to get one?" Greg asked. "Fair point," she said. "Now, where's that explanation I'm supposed to get?" Greg asked. "Well, that portal you pulled me out of, was the one from my time," Aries said. "How exactly does that work, though?" Greg asked. "There's no god of time and space." Aries sighed. "Actually, there is, he's more powerful than any of the gods out there," Aries said. "In my time, 2028, he's awakened, and by the time he was, it was too late," Aries started sniffling. "What happens?" Greg asked. "After mom died, when I was only a baby, you had slipped into a rage that was too powerful to control," Aries said. "I'm not angry now, and she's been dead for months," Greg said. "Greg, I came to change your future!" Aries shouted. "Why?" Greg asked. "Because, mom is still alive, and you die trying to save her!!" She cried. Greg fell silent, he didn't know whether to believe her or not. "You're lying, I saw her, she was dead," Greg said. "No, did you ever notice a purple crystal after you defeated Connor?" Aries asked. "Now that you mention it, yes, I do remember," Greg said. "Wait a minute, that purple crystal disappeared, and it went towards Natalie," Greg thought for a moment. "It was a temporary paralysis, of the whole body, and the soul," Aries said. "I've been gone for eight months, and I haven't tried anything," Greg cried. "I need to get to her." Aries stood up and walked to the door. "You can't, you'll die!" Aries screamed. "She's your mother, and the woman I love, I have to get her back!" Greg shouted. Aries looked into her father's eyes, and saw something she hadn't seen since she crossed over. She saw determination, rage, happiness, love, but most of all, she saw hope. 'Dad,' Aries thought. She smiled, and hugged him. Greg stood in shock, he had never felt like this. It was like he had fallen in love all over again, only this time, he had two girls. His girlfriend, Natalie, and his daughter. He embraced her. "Dad, before we go, can you tell me how mom saved you?" Aries asked. Greg chuckled. "Back when we were in middle school, your father took her for granted, I had cheated on her so many times, and she still gave me more chances, I don't know why I did what I did, but, I couldn't change the past, so, I stood by for years, watching her with other people," Greg shed tears. "I wanted to change, I needed to change my idiotic ways, if I could be with her," Greg said. "So, ever since then, I kept finding ways to improve myself, so that I could be with her," Greg said. "A foolish choice on my part, because, she came back, she was mad because of what I did, not because of who I was," Greg said. "Your mother stopped me from killing myself, and now, it's my time to return the favor," Greg's eyes turned electric blue. "I will make them pay!"
Guillermo and Star returned from the store, and they walked in on Greg's mild rage. "What did we miss?" Guillermo asked. "I've got good news and bad news," Greg said. "The good news is that Natalie is still alive." "That's great!" Star said. "What's the bad news?" Guillermo asked. "The bad news is that, she's being held captive by the gods," Greg said. "That's impossible!" Guillermo said. "They gave us power, they couldn't be at fault for this." "We were deceived by a lie, they gave us power to help them deal with their own problems," Greg said. "I don't believe you, it's not possible," Guillermo gasped. "Guillermo, I have to get her back," Greg said. "You won't, I won't let you hurt them," Guillermo blasted Greg, but Greg dodged. "Guillermo, what's come over you?!" Greg exclaimed. "I won't allow you to continue," Guillermo said. "I'm not gonna fight you, you're my best friend," Greg said. "I won't let you take my power away!!" Guillermo said, as he blasted Greg outside. Greg got back up, lightning surged around his entire body. "If that's how you feel about this, then, I won't hold back!" Greg shouted.
