The storm had hit the water like crazy, yet, it still remained calm. Greg was sitting at one of the tables, looking out the small circle of a window at the clouds. He sat, and just stared. "You mind if I join you?" Someone asked. He turned and saw Star with a look of worry. "Not at all, pop a squat," Greg said. Star sat across from him. "You look troubled," Greg said. "Well, we're going to fight false gods in Bermuda, not exactly calming," Star said. "Fair enough, but, that doesn't look like the problem," Greg said. Star fell silent, she had a look in her eyes that could only be described as depressed, nothing but tears in her eyes. "Guillermo has been more distant from me, he won't even look at me," Star said. "He seems distant from everyone," Greg said. Star shed tears, "Anytime he looks at me, I see fire in his eyes, he's angry," Star said. Greg looked out the window, and he felt lightning surge through his body. "I don't know why he would be, he has you," Greg said. "I don't know, but, I'm afraid for him," Star said. "You gotta believe in him, you just gotta have..." Greg trailed off, he couldn't say faith after what those bastards did to him. He just couldn't have faith. "I trust him," Greg said. "I do too," Star said.
Natalie and Aries were in one of the sleeping quarters of the boat, and were talking. "Wait a minute, so you're telling me he did that," Aries said. "That's what he did, and I just laughed," Natalie said. "I can't believe dad caused that much pain to himself," Aries said. "It was his fault, he didn't stop himself from hammering his balls," Natalie laughed, as did Aries. "Well, they still worked," Natalie said. "Yeah, hey mom?" Aries said. "What's up?" Natalie asked. "Why didn't dad try and save you?" Aries asked. "He couldn't, I was trapped in a force field, if he tried, he would've died," Natalie said. "I wasn't gonna let him do that." She fell silent. "In a way, if I didn't die, then, you wouldn't have met him." "That's something I could've lived with," Aries said. "No Aries, your father made a promise," Natalie said. "And what was that?" Aries asked. "If him and I ever had a child, and I were to die, he would be there, forever and always," she answered. Aries had a brief flashback. "No matter what, I will love you and be there for you, forever and always," Greg said. "I promised your mom, and I promise you." Aries sat and wiped her face. "Damn it," Aries whispered.
Guillermo stood outside in the pouring rain while they drifted. He just stood there with his arms crossed, pondering, about what? He didn't know. "I'm so angry," Guillermo thought. "I don't know why though." He sat on one of the seats, and looked out. He saw a lightning bolt strike near him. The lightning bolt turned into an apparition, The god of lightning. "What do you want?" Guillermo said. "I'm just here to talk," he said. "I don't want to talk," Guillermo said. "Clearly, you seem angry," Lightning said. "Yeah, I am, and if you don't get out of here, I'll incinerate you," Guillermo threatened. "Without you knowing the truth?" Lightning asked. "The only truth I know is that you and fireball are false gods," Guillermo said. "Then let me show you the truth about your so-called friends," Lightning said. "What?" Guillermo gasped. Lightning put his hand on Guillermo's head, and he showed Guillermo everything. "He's a freak!" Star said. "I never liked him," Natalie said. "Brother?" Greg said. "If you think a moron like you could be my brother, you're stupider than I thought." These words were echoing in Guillermo's head, the repetition was killing him. "I never loved you," Star said. Guillermo came back into the real world, and cried. "I'm sorry, but, I had to show you that," Lightning said. Guillermo panted heavily, and he looked up, blue flames in his eyes. "Come with me, Guillermo, together, you and I, will become gods," Lightning said. "On one condition," Guillermo said. "You spare Star," Guillermo said. "But why?" Lightning asked. "She's the love of my life," Guillermo said. "What about Greg?" Lightning asked. "I will fight him, but not as an equal, as a god," Guillermo cackled. Blinded by anger and rage, Guillermo went with the false god, and the storm calmed down. And from that moment on, the love between two soul mates was broken, and the bond between two brothers, was severed.
