They stood awestruck, it was the god of time, right in front of them. "What do you want?" Greg asked angrily. "I want to thank you for freeing me," Antare said. "Well, you're welcome, what does that do for everyone else?" Greg asked. "Do you mean everyone who died?" He asked. He looked over at Natalie, and saw the black eyes, he felt an instant feeling of melancholy. "I didn't think they would try to do reanimation, much less succeed," Antare said. Natalie looked away, Star looked over at Guillermo's body, and shed a tear. "I'm afraid there is nothing I can do," Antare said. "Just like the rest of them," Greg said. "Greg, if there was something I could do, I would have done it already," Antare said. "Unfortunately, you can't stop death, it's a force greater than any power of mine." Greg was silent, he knew what he said was true, and he couldn't argue it. "Antare, I only have one question," Greg said. "What's going to happen to Natalie?" Antare looked over at her. "The reanimation will be undone, and she will die," Antare said. Greg looked over at Nat, and he saw her suffering. She wanted to move on, and he could see that. "Okay, undo the reanimation," Greg said. Antare snapped his fingers, and Natalie's skin started to slowly shrivel. Greg started crying. "Don't cry for me, Greg," Natalie said. "I want you to move on." Greg fell silent. "Natalie, tell dad that I said hi, and don't worry about me," Greg said. "I will, and, I want you to promise me one thing," Natalie said. "Please, take care of Aries for me." Greg dried up. "I will," Greg said. Natalie smiled. "Remember," Natalie said. "I will always love you." She then disappeared into the sky. "Goodbye, Natalie," Greg whispered.
Antare looked over at Guillermo, and snapped his fingers. He disappeared, along with his body. "I guess that's the last we'll see of him," Star said. Greg looked at his hand, and saw that his mark was gone. Star's was gone as well. Greg closed his eyes, and he knew that they won. "It's over," Greg said. They walked back to the boat.
On the way back, nothing was said. Greg focused on driving, Star was sitting in the galley. Greg went through hell after his dad died, and when he heard that Natalie was brought back, he couldn't contain himself. He was so happy, and she gave him hope. Now that she's gone, he has to find hope in someone else. He thought about Star, but, he'd be breaking the bro code. It would take time, but, he'd find it in someone. He found a new love with his daughter, Aries, and he wouldn't find anything like that. Although, that's not what he's looking for.
Star now knew what it's like to lose the one she loves. She wanted to die on the spot, but, she knew Guillermo wouldn't let her. Star was always an energetic woman, full of hope, so wonder, and love. She always found the good in everyone. Now, she was opened to the truth. Not even deities are necessarily good. Maybe, the only good she can find is within herself, and her brother, Greg.
A few hours passed, and they had docked back in Florida. They got in the Impala, and drove home.
