The two gods stood and laughed, Star and Nat stopped for a second. Star had seen what happened, and had tears in her eyes. "Why are you so upset, the only thing admirable about his death was that he saved Greg, he had no significance," Lightning said. Those words. Those disgusting words had Greg dry up, and he looked at the gods. "Don't you dare mock the dead," Greg said. "Nobody deserves to die, and nobody deserves to be mocked." Greg's eyes glowed with lightning in them. "And most of all, don't downgrade Guillermo's death," Greg said. "Don't laugh... AT MY BROTHER!!" Greg shot lightning at the god of fire. Fire dodged, but, he was too worn out from Guillermo's offense, and couldn't move afterwards. "Fire, what's wrong?" Lightning said. "Guillermo put up one hell of a fight, I can't be of much use anymore," Fire said. Lightning looked at Fire, almost as if he were dying, like he had to put him out of his misery. "I'm sorry, my friend," Lightning said. "Wait, Sparky, don't do this," Fire said. "You know I don't have a choice," Lightning said, almost emotionless. "Please, I beg you, don't do this," Fire said. "Goodbye, my friend," Lightning drove a blade of lightning into Fire's heart. It was almost instantaneous, he then let him fall to the ground. "All he told you was that he was tired, why did you do that?" Greg asked angrily. "He was of no use for me anymore," Lightning said. "I can act as a seal on my own." Greg thought for a moment, and he caught on. "A seal," Greg said. "What are you keeping sealed?" Lightning looked at Greg, and scoffed. "You don't need to know that," Lightning said. "Hmm, well, I guess I'll just have to get it out of you the old fashioned way," Greg said, as he dashed at Lightning.
Star and Nat were having their own fight, and they were bloodied and bruised. "You know, it didn't have to be this way," Star said. "Unfortunately, there was no other way this could have ended up," Nat said. "So, your choice was to betray Greg for real?" Star asked. "This is gonna be years of trust issues." Star went and punched Natalie in the face. Nat punched Star, and kicked her in the stomach.
Greg and Lightning were exchanging blows, and they were entirely engulfed in lightning. Greg kicked Lightning in the face, and then he charged a lightning attack. "You won't live through this," Lightning said. Greg charged his own technique, Lightning mixed in with the inferno style. "Lightning Bomb!!" Lightning screamed as he unleashed his technique on Greg, Greg dashed right at it. He managed to dodge it, and jump right at Lightning. "Heavenly Strike!!" Greg screamed. The technique connected, and Lightning was paralyzed from the impact. "How is this possible?" Lightning asked. "I am a god!!" Greg stood over him. "Eventually, gods fall, and lightning disappears after a while," Greg said. He drove a lightning blade through Lightning's heart. The god finally laid dead.
Nat's eyes had been fixed, and regained control of herself. Star went to hit her, and was stopped. "Star, it's me!" Nat said. "You... you're back?" Star asked. "Yes," Nat said. They walked to where Greg was, and they stood beside him. "I'm sorry it had to be this way," Nat said. "I just wish Guillermo didn't have to sacrifice himself, for me," Greg said. "He didn't die in vain," Star said. The ground started shaking, and they all panicked. "I thought this was over!" Greg shouted. It stopped, and a person appeared in front of them from the sky. "Who are you?" Greg asked. He looked at Greg and the others. "I'm alive, then, that means the false gods are dead," The person said. "Okay, this is stupid, who are you?!" Greg asked. "Oh, my apologies, my name... is Antare," He said.
