Scandal 9 – In which the fool is sick
It wasn’t as if she wanted to drive too. Kaya mas preferred niyang may driver siya.
Nang nasa may foyer na siya ay napansin niyang naghihintay sa kanya si Bert, Bert the ever so loyal butler of her husband. “I’m going out Bert.”
“Are you dining out madam?”
“Yes.”
I’ll pay you handsomely for your silence.”
Ngumiti naman si Cassandra, Anton’s secretary was really considerate of Anton. “Good. Let me know kung nandito na yung doctor.”
James prohibited her to paint, so there was no room for her to paint at their house. And it was not as if she could rent out a studio apartment, so Anton gave her one room in his house to be her art room.
She’d go here to paint. Painting had always been her passion and even when James had prohibited her, she could not do it. If she stopped painting then what would become of her life?
She tied her hair into a bun and wore the apron. She walked towards the easel and looked at her unfinished canvas.
