Scandal 26 – In which she rescues not two but three drunken idiots
Anya wasn’t so hard to find, Cassandra just searched the area where most people flocked. She found Anya with her whole entourage, great just like old times, Cassandra mused.
Anya was surrounded by her friends who until even before flocked around her. In their college days, Anya was never alone, she was always surrounded by her posse. Just like now.
She stalked toward Anya, she needed to do this she needed to get this over, then she had to talk to the organizers about pulling Anton, and Ralphe off the program. But as she was walking toward the flock, she felt uneasy.
There was a reason why she never attended functions that her alma mater held, that was she really hated those girls. Every student in this freaking university was privileged and spoiled.
There was a social strata between students and she was on the bottom of the ladder. Those kids in the higher ladder were all mean and well they cared only for themselves. No one could get in their circle, Anton was the exception when he had become Anya’s boyfriend.
But she knew very much that they never accepted him as part of them, why, as soon as Anya left they pretty much washed their hands off Anton. Freaking hypocrites.
Even now that she was a countess and very much respected she still felt the hatred and uneasiness when she was near those girls. They tortured her and Clara, well she did have a great college experience especially after Clara made it to the entertainment industry.
The moment she was in front of the flock, they stopped whatever they were doing and stared at her. Anya had the nerve to smile at her. “Why, hello Cassandra.”
“I need to talk to you in private.” She told her.
Anya raised her eyebrow but nodded. She turned to Emma Price and smiled. “I’ll be right back.”
Cassandra looked at Emma Prince and social etiquette told her to greet the woman, they were formally introduced by Seraphina Price, Emma gave a dinner party and invited her and James over.
She knew that the only reason Emma Price invited them was because her boyfriend needed to smooch with James.
She didn’t have time for social niceties so she turned her back on them and started walking away knowing that Anya would follow her. Since they were close to the Art building, she chose that place for their talk.
Once inside the room, she turned to Anya and glared at her. “Why did you leave Anton alone in that villa? Why did you even invite him over there?”
“I don’t see why it’s any of your business.”
“It is my business especially when my best friend is drinking himself to stupor! Honestly I don’t care whether you spread your legs for Anton, spread it wide if you want but don’t fucking play games with him!”
