Scandal 27 – In which the wife takes the idiots home
They reached Dark Alley and Angelo was just parking the car when she saw the three drunken idiots, Anton and Ralphe were ganging up on Ian. She covered her face with her palms, God, why couldn’t the three of them just stop?
As soon as Angelo parked the car, she jumped out of the car and ran to their side. Ralphe was about to throw a punch then but then halted when she yelled. “ENOUGH!”
The three idiots stared at her. Then pointed their finger at one another, pointing out who started it.
“Wala akong pakielam kung sino man nagsimula. Ang gusto ko lang ay tumigil kayo! For Pete’s sake, ilang araw na ba kayong nagpapakasaling?” sigaw niya sa tatlo, tinignan niya sila ng masama at nagbuntong hininga. “I don’t really care if you guys want to beat each other but please do that somewhere private.” Lumapit siya kay Ian at kinuha yung bote na hawak hawak nito, “I told you last night, stop drinking. I will call Clara, Ian if you don’t stop this binge and we both know she’ll come back just to kick your ass.” Ngumiti siya kay Ian.
Ngumiti din si Ian sa kanya at umiling. “I’m sorry Cass for being such a burden.”
She shook her head then turned to the other two idiots. “And you two, I told you to go home. Alicia had been going in circles for the both of you. Kawawa naman yung tao, I gave her the authority to put you in that car and now…”
“And she did. You never told us that we weren’t allowed to drive. We got into the car just as you wished.” Ralphe smirked.
“You both know what I meant.” She said.
Angelo arrived and for the first time, the three of them scowled at Angelo. Cassandra wondered why did men in her life never liked Angelo, all her male friends seemed to disliked him more than ever.
She got it with Ian and Anton but never with Ralphe, they were in the same group since they were teens but they seemed to never got along.
“You came with him?” Anton asked never breaking his glare at Angelo.
“Is everything alright here Cassie?” Tanong ni Angelo sa kanya, tumango naman si Cassandra. “I have to go back to the concert. Do you need anything else?”
Umiling si Cassandra. “Salamat pala Angelo.”
Tumango lang si Angelo at umalis na rin agad.
“Come on guys, magsi-uwian na tayo.” Sabi niya sa tatlo, nilingon niya yung parking lot at nakita si Alicia sa tabi ng kotse niya kasama yung driver niya. “Ian, you can ride with Alicia. She’s going to take you home. I’ll ride with these two.”
Ian nodded and then leaned closer to her. “I’ll call Clara so don’t tell anything about my drinking okay? I’ll tell her myself. And I’m sorry Cass.” He whispered.
