Chapter 6
Deadlox's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes. I don't remember closing them. I have a horrible headache and my ears are ringing slightly. Ugh. I feel like somebody stuck a sword in my head and then removed it. By the stories I've been told by zombies who have survived being stabbed in the head it was probably worse than this, but I'm guessing this could be pretty close for not actually getting physically wounded.

I looked around to see that the room I was in had stone walls. There was also a crafting table, some bookcases, and things that are normal for bedrooms to have. There was a jukebox in the corner along with one of those things I saw in the tree house. There was a chest on both sides of where the 2 were. One said 'records', while the other one said 'CDs'. By that I'm assuming that the mini records were called CDs.

How did I get here? The last thing I remember before getting here was laying on the floor of Mitch and Jerome's tree house with music playing in the background. I couldn't hear anything but the music. If I wasn't there then why were the walls stone?

So I wasn't in the tree house, and I defiantly wasn't in my room back in the cave, then where was I? As if in reply Sky walked into the room. He broke out into a grin when he saw I was awake and turned to look back outside. "Jaaaaaaaassssssooooonnnn!" He yelled. "The sleepy head is up!" I wonder who Jason is.

Sky stepped farther into the room as somebody in a strange blue outfit walked into the room. "Hi. I'm Jason." The guy said as he pulled off some sort of weird helmet that had orange tinting. Jason smiled at me. "Your name is Ty, right?" He asked.

"Yep." I replied. He sighed with relief.

"Good. I was worried I forgot your name." Jason told me. I smiled at that. Why would he forget my name?

"Hurry up!" Sky whined. "The others want us to see them as soon as he woke up."

"We might want to hurry before he starts flailing around till we do what he wants." Jason whispered to me. I gave a slight laugh.

"What are you saying about me Jason?" Sky asked.

Jason threw his hands in the air. "I didn't do anything! I'm innocent!"

"Are you ready yet?" Sky asked impatiently.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I replied getting out of the bed. Jason slipped his helmet back on and we walked over to the door. "Let's do dis!" I yelled, throwing my fist in the air. Sky didn't flinch and Jason only rubbed his ear once. Are they used to people yelling in their ears or something?

Sky lead the way through a building that was unfamiliar to me. All I have to say I'd that there was a lot of gold all over the place. "What's with all the gold?" I asked.

"What's gold?" Sky asked. I motioned to all the gold blocks laying around. "That's budder!" Sky exclaimed seeming upset that I didn't know that.

"Just go with it." Jason murmured after Sky had turned back around. I nodded and we continued on our way.

We passed people in the hallways that greeted us with huge smiles. They were all so nice. The weird thing is that they didn't treat me like I was used to, swinging swords or cowering away in fear, they treated me like one of their own. Humans had tried to kill me and my friends or were terrified of us for as long as I can remember, thing kindness from them was very strange.

Finally we arrived at a fancy looking door. I hadn't seen anything like this before. "What is this?" I asked.

"This is the meeting room." Jason replied simply as Sky pushed open the doors. "It's usually only used by Team Crafted."

We walked in and Sky took a seat at the far end of the table and Jason sat next to him. I hesitated but Sky motioned to a seat on his other side. "I sent a recruit to go get the others." Sky explained.

"They're in and around the building so it shouldn't take long." Jason stated. It was kinda weird how they could flawlessly continue like that, it was almost like in one of Jess' fantasy novels that he had used to teach me how to read. Thinking about that made me realize that that's how I learned to speak human. If I learned that way, and my friends could fluently read those books as well... That means we can all speak and understand the human langue.

Now all we have to do is wait for the others to arrive.
