Chapter 11
Jason's P.O.V.
I can't believe it's been months since Ty left. He hasn't visited since, and I'm afraid to leave incase somebody follows me and ends up killing his zombie friends. Sky has also seemed a bit down since Ty left. I guessed his interesting personality had caught us more than the others.
I constantly told myself Ty was fine and that he didn't want to bother with a long trek through the jungle. However, there was always a part of me that feared the worst had happened.

Deadlox's P.O.V."I wanna go to the jungle!" Terra pleaded. "I thought I saw a new animal in that direction last night and I want to go check it out."
"Fine." I sighed. She had been bugging me all evening about wanting to go. "Just remember to stay with the group."
"Yay!" She squealed before skipping off.
Jess looked up at me from behind his book. "If it is a new animal, we might want to catch it so we can study it."
"I want to be the one who catches it! What if it is a passive mob? My amazing skills should keep it from attacking us." Kira said quickly.
"What amazing skills?" Jess joked. He only succeeded in getting a glare from her.
"Should keep it from attacking?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Kira huffed. "Even experts make mistakes."
I sighed and began to pack some gear. I didn't know whether I should hope that we meet Mitch and Jerome, or that we don't encounter them at all. I don't know which would be better.

We stood at the edge of the jungle. Terra looked like she wanted to squeal in excitement, but was holding it in to stop herself from scaring away the wildlife. She seemed like a human kid in one of those things I think they call a candy store. I just rolled my eyes.
We walked carefully through the foliage until we came upon a vine that had been severed with the log behind it having deep gashed in it at about shoulder height. Terra and Kira looked on in amazement as I shuddered. Imagine what a creature like that could do to a zombie.
"Hey guys! Check this out!" Jess called out. We made out way over and we saw a tuff of brown fur caught on some thorns.
"That's the same colour as some of the creature!" Terra exclaimed. "It also looked like it had a lot of black fur too. Only really it's head and front paws were brown."
In my mind I pieced the information together. The gashes in the tree looked like they were from straight on, so the creature must be about as tall as an average human - maybe taller. Some brown fur, but looked mostly black... "Were there hints of white fur? Did the creature stand on it's hind legs?"
"Yeah... Why?" Terra replied.
If her reply had not confirm my suspicions, then the diamond axe that flew past our heads and got stuck in the tree with the gashes did. "Betty." I murmured as I looked at it. Then I gave an important command. "Run!"
I began to scramble away in a random direction away from Jerome. I heard the others following me as we stumbled through thick foliage.
I don't remember how long we ran for or what was going on around us as we ran. However, the next thing I knew, was that we were coming up to a clearing in a dark oak forest that had a tower in it. The tower looked like it had been abandoned long ago, with maybe a person coming and using it from time to time.
Looking up at the sky I noticed it was already becoming lighter out. "Into the tower!" I ordered and the four of us rushed over. Luckily the door was unlocked.
Making our way in, the tower was dark. There were a few windows, but as long as we had a roof over our heads, we wouldn't burn. There were unlit torches hanging on the walls.
Wandering to a random room, we found ourselves in a library of sorts. "This is as good a place as any to sleep." I shrugged and turned around to look at the others. Jess' eyes seemed to twinkled in amazement. Bookworm.
I went over to a corner of the room. I guess I'd sleep over here today.
Just as I was about to pull out my bed, a human voice filled the room. "How did zombies spawn in here? Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get rid of them."
I spun around in surprise to look at the man in the doorway.

You can blame my writer's block that I've had for like ever for the lack of updates. I'm sorry about that by the way. Also, I've been sick recently and my mind wandered alot so that's where this came from. I guess being sick isn't completely bad afterall... Now let's hope that writer's block doesn't take hold of me again.
