Chapter 8
Deadlox's P.O.V.
I woke up the day after the meeting/ party thingy. I yawned and walked out of the room I was staying in.
Just across the doorway to my room was a big window. I looked out it to see that it was almost noon. I thought of my friends, no, my family, they would be sleeping right now. I wondered how they were doing without me. I sat there for a while before realizing just how homesick I was.
"What's wrong?" I heard Jerome ask. I smiled, maybe I wouldn't have to put up with my homesickness much longer.
"I'm missing home. I was wondering..." I trailed off.
"Gone on." Jerome nodded walking over to look out the window with me.
"Could you take me back to the other side of the jungle?" I blurted.
"Sure." Jerome smiled, then the smile fell from his face. "If we left soon we'd probably arrive an hour before sunrise. Sure it shouldn't be to bad across the treetops, but what about when we get to the plains? You'll have to walk through a mob infested field to get back to your home."
"It's okay." I said happily. I would see my friends by the next sunrise. "I grew up there, I'm used to it." Jerome looked at me doubtfully, but I looked at him with pleading eyes.
"Fine." He finally said. I cheered.
"What's going on?" I heard Jason ask.
"Jerome's taking me back across the jungle. I'm going home." I could keep back my joy.
"I'll tell the others." Jason nodded walking away. Well, that was strange.
"Before we leave, I want to go get Betty." Jerome said. I tilted my head in confusion, but didn't say anything. Not like Jerome noticed, he was already walking down the hallway. I ran to catch up.
Jerome stopped outside of a room, so I'm going to guess its his. "I'll wait here." I said. Jerome nodded and walked in the door. I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes for a moment, and as soon as I did that, Jerome was walking back out of the room. "Where's Betty?" I asked.
"Right here." Jerome grinned as he pulled a diamond axe off of his back and twirled it around in his paw. I stepped back in surprise. I had never seen somebody weird a diamond axe like that with such ease. Axes weren't usually used as weapons. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Jerome said, putting the axe away.
"Shall we get going then?" I asked. Jerome nodded and we set out.

I grabbed a vine the hung off one of the branches near me. All I had to do was slide down this vine, and traverse the plains to get to the cave I called home.
I took a deep breath and began my decent. I was both nervous and excited at the same time. Then I felt that uncomfortable feeling that I had had on and off the whole way here, the feeling of being watched. I kept feeling like someone had been following us, but I never told Jerome because I thought that I was just paranoid.
Before I knew it my feet thudded on the ground. I sighed in relief and took off running towards the cave. Either my friends were already there, or they would be home soon, and I couldn't wait to see them again.

Jason's P.O.V.
I descended so I was standing on top of the tree with Jerome, it was now or never to ask my question. "Jerome?" Jerome turned to look at me, no surprise on his face. He must've smelt me coming. "Was there anything strange about Ty when you first met him."
Jerome looked up thoughtfully for a moment then nodded. "Yeah, he reeked of death, but more lively, so basically he smelt like a zombie." I tilted my head in confusion, taking it in. Then I nodded, it would help explain the fact that Mitch had said that Ty didn't know how to use a CD player.
"Thanks Jerome!" I said flying up into the air. I flew so that I was low enough to see Ty, but high enough that he wouldn't notice me.
I watched as Ty approached a cave then disappeared from view. That must've been the cave Sky had found him in. I looked around confusedly though. There had been a lot of mobs that had been in Ty's path and didn't even attempt to attack him.
I descended down towards the ground, a diamond sword close at hand in case of trouble. I managed to land at the beginning of the cave, so I quickly hurried in hoping that no mobs were inside.

Is Jason prepared for what he's about to find out? Probably not. Well, umm... not much to say. Bye! (I spelt that correctly for absolutely no reason)
