Chapter 12
Deadlox's P.O.V.I turned around to look at the man in the doorway. His black, grey, and purple robes reminded my of one of the picture Jess had shown me from one of his books. What was it depicting though? Why can't I remember it now?!
"He's a magic user if some kind." Jess mumbled. My eyes widened.
As a ball of purple fire appeared in the man's right hand, I ran forewords and my friends ran behind me. "No sir please!" I yelled, putting my hands in front of me. "I thought this tower was abandoned, so we came here to spend the day. Please don't kill us!" I made sure I was speaking human so he would understand me.
"Talking zombie. Being back out here and alone for this long must be making me hear things." The man mumbled.
"No sir. I can speak human." I said calmly. "I even encountered some humans a few months ago who kept telling me that I was human too. Strangely enough I didn't end up burning in the sunlight though..."
The man's eyes widened and slowly the ball of purple fire came in our direction. I flinched away from the fire, torches I could handle, but this was a bit much.
I heard my friends shuffling backwards in order to avoid the tongues of fire. I stayed perfectly still however and the ball of fire began to slowly circle around me. I was mentally freaking out, but I forced myself to look calm. Breathe in, breathe out, repeat. I mean you can't really call me crazy for being terrified of a floating ball of fire that could KILL me.
I could see the man looking at me with squinted eyes, like he was trying to figure out everything about me. I wondered what he was thinking.
Suddenly his hand went up into the air, and the fireball flew straight into hand. It stopped right before it ended up hitting him. "Interesting." He murmured. "Very interesting."
"Sir?" I got the man's attention.
His eyes snapped up to look at me. "Are your friends able to talk too? Why do you all look so unique? How are you able to survive with these hostile mobs? How did you end up in my home?" He suddenly let out a barrage of questions.
"Uh." I stood there for a moment not knowing how to answer his questions. "Jess is also able to speak human, but he has some trouble with it. The others can only understand this language." I paused. "I don't understand the next two questions, and the answer to the last question..." I let out a small laugh. "My friends didn't know who we were being chased by, but I do. They think it was some new animal, but I know differently. If they listen carefully then they'll know who was chasing us." I turned to make sure they were all paying attention. Jess was staring at all the books in the room, so Kira hit him to get his attention. I nodded in her direction as thanks before I turned back to the man and continued. "We were being chased by Jerome from Team Crafted. He threw Betty at us. Luckily he missed and I got us out of there before he ended up killing them. I doubt he would have killed me, but I didn't want to find out the hard way. I'm not sure how far he chased us either..."
"If you're a zombie, then how do you know who Jerome is? Why do you think that Jerome wouldn't kill you?" This guy was just full of questions.
"They're the humans I met a few months ago. Sky found me in our cave and brought me to where Team Crafted hangs out. On the way there we had to go through the jungle and we walked across the treetops. Jerome had led us across the trees, and we stopped at where him and Mitch live." I paused for a breath."Let me just say that that is one large tree." The man seemed amused with my last remark.
"Alright." He said suddenly. "Follow me." With that he spun on his heels to walk out the room.
"Wait! Where are we going?" I asked. "We don't even know your name!"
"Sorry." The man turned back to face us. "My name is Seto. I'm a sorcerer. I'm bringing you guys up to the guest room. It's small, but it'll have to do."
"R-really?" I stuttered.
"Yes!" Seto replied. "Now hurry up! I need to use my library!"
The four of us turned to look at each other before grabbing our stuff and following the sorcerer. Jess seemed upset that he had to leave the books. The girls seemed excited. I myself did not know what to feel. Seto had changed his mind quite quickly. One moment he wanted to kill us, and the next he's offering us a place to rest. I can't help but wonder what motives drove him.

Sky's P.O.V.I sat draped across my budder throne. I was soooo bored. The squids had been strangely inactive for the past month, so something big was coming obviously. I guess I could go train a bit with the recruits.
Just as I was about to get up however, Jerome burst into the throne room. "Fluffy!" I exclaimed happily. I sat upright and correctly in my chair with a grin on my face. It had been a week since I had last seen him or Mitch. They had been in their jungle home taking a break from helping train the newbies.
It was only when Mitch ran in after Jerome that I realized Jerome's panicked expression. Mitch rushed after him with a worried look as he came headlong towards my throne. I hadn't seen either of them like this in a long time. I wonder what happened.
"Sky! Call a meeting with all of Team Crafted!" Jerome shouted as he grew close to me.
I looked at him with confusion. "Why?" I asked.
"It's important! I think this involves everybody!" He called over his shoulder as he turned around swiftly and ran back past baffled guards and a panting Mitch. Mitch looked at me and shrugged before he scrambled to follow the uptight bacca.
"Jerome! Wait!" Mitch yelled as he chased him.
The guards looked at me. "You heard him. Go find the other Team Crafted members." I told them. They all seemed surprised, but rushed to follow orders. It was a good thing that the rest of Team Crafted was on base. What was so important to have Jerome acting so strangely?
I stood up and began to make my way to the Team Crafted meeting room. I guess this was the only way to figure out what was going on with Jerome.

ANA WILD CHAPTER APPEARED!
Ahem...
Anyways...
So I hope you enjoy this chapter! :D Umm... Welcome Seto to the story! :3 I miss Seto a lot and he's kinda disappeared off the Internet as far as I know... If Seto ever reads this (which I doubt he ever will), I would just want to tell him that I miss him, and ask if he's okay. I'd tell him he doesn't need to return to YouTube if he doesn't want to and that I'd understand if he left for good. I just feel like he never really said goodbye though... so... yeah...
Whelp! See y'all next time or whatevers! Bye! :P
