Celestine's POV

I thought I'd never miss the feeling of the dead grass beneath your boots when you step into school grounds.

Moreover, I never thought I'd miss anything because what's there to miss if you can't remember?

Come to think of it, I'm really just waiting for when Elsa comes knocking on my door asking me if I wanna build a snowman then telling me she shot me in her head with ice powers, brought me to a pack of trolls to wipe my memory and now here we are.

But that would be a totally different story.

I noticed the whispers and stares people shot my way as I walked down the hall with Christian by my side.

'I thought she couldn't remember anything?'

'Isn't she supposed to be in the hospital?'

I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I walked over to my locker, with Christian constantly needing to help me with my codes and books I had to take for classes because I couldn't remember. It wasn't until a hand shot out and slammed my locker shut that I turned around, tracing the hand back to it's owner.

She was a red head with stormy grey eyes glowering into my own, but her face showed a sweet smile as she slowly removed her hand from my locker and crossed it over her chest, leaning her weight on her right side.

I smiled awkwardly and uncomfortably, not even trying to hide the fact that she was making me extremely squeamish. She then squinted her eyes at me, scrutinizing me as I squinted  back at her.

She's not going to say anything?

"Aye," Christian interjected, snapping his fingers in front of our faces and putting an arm around my shoulders. "Sorry 'bout that honey, I know you're interested but she doesn't swing that way." He snickered as her eyes finally snapped wide enough for her eyeballs to pop out.
