❣ Celestine's POV ❣

It's been about two week since Storm's first smile or laugh. School has started and Storm went back to his place. My mother came back from her business trip in Bali.

Storm and I grew closer. We still weren't best friends or anything. But we can tolerate each other better. I see him moping around school most of the time and would flash him a smile. But he would just give me a curt nod.

"You stole my fries!"

"Did not."

"Did to."

"Did not."

"Did to."

"Did not."

"Did- Oh, hey Celest!" Jackson called and sat beside me.

Currently, we're having lunch. Jackson and Jessyn were on duty today so they came in late. I was just sitting with North when they came in.

"Hey." I greeted them. My eyes trailed to Storm who was just siting under a tree with his earbuds. Griffin was holding a football, approaching him. His mood lightened a little when they started talking. I smiled.

"So how's Toby lately?" Jackson asked.

"Being an ass." I answered. He seriously hasn't been practicing his manners. When we video call, he would just act annoyed by me or bored out. I would roll my eyes and shut off the call. It's been like this for quite some time.

"Hey, that's my pizza!" Jessyn's voice broke me out of thought.

"Not anymore." Jackson grinned and took a bite out of her pizza.

She pouted at me, "Celest?"

I chuckled, "Jackson, if you don't give me some, I will side with her."

"I'm not sharing my pizza." He smirked.

"Suit yourself." I narrowed my eyes evilly and stole his packet of fries and dumping salt in them.

Eventually, he ate them and scowled at me while Jessyn and I laughed our butts off. His face scrunched up at the strong taste of salt.

North laughed and pointed at him, "Now you know how I feel."

"I should've just gave it to you." He croaked.

I stuck my tongue out childishly at him as everyone laughed.

The Skype ringtone on my computer was rigging as I answered it.

"Hey-"

"It's not working out." He cut me off.

"Wha-"

"I can't do this anymore, Celest."

"Do wha-"

"I'm breaking up with you."

My heart stung. My eyes were burning as tears threatened to pool in them. How dare he? Acting like an ass for the past month, then calls me and shoots me down without letting utter a single word. Coward.

I took a steady breath, "Why?"

"Don't you see? The distance? It's crazy, you were here and then you moved out of the blue. Plus, it's getting old, annoying even. Knowing I can't touch other girls because I have to stay loyal to my girlfriend whose living damn far away and I never actually see her other than through a computer screen, isn't what I want. This, this is getting old. I can't do it anymore." He said angrily.
