❣ Celestine's POV ❣
"For the last time, it's okay." I rolled my eyes and wave my hand dismissingly at the twins who followed me around, asking if I was okay or if I wanted to go home.
"Yeah, it's throbbing and last I've heard, you broke it." Jessyn pointed at my bandaged nose and I swatted her hand away.
"It looks pretty bad." Jackson muttered and reached his hand out, wanting to touch my throbbing red nose but I slapped his hand away.
I clutched my books tighter to my chest as we walked to my locker, with them lecturing me about being careful. Thinking of that, my previous prank failed, it's time one of them blew up. I smirked and punched in the code for my locker bringing out a small container of glitter. Yep, messy, sparkly glitter.
I felt a presence behind me and the musky scent of axe. And I guessed correct of who the person was. "Hey kiddo, how was–woah, what happened to your nose?" Griffin all but gasped.
"Got hit by a door." I answered shortly. Griffin bit his lip, trying to suppress his laughter. I rolled my eyes, "Go on, laugh it off." And he did, hell he even snorted.
I huffed playfully and slung my back over my shoulders, quickly heading to one of my classes to set up my prank.
I poke my head into the classroom and smirked when no one was there. I quickly climbed on the table and reached to the air conditioner, sprinkling glitter on the edge and hopped down. I superglued all the chairs down to the floor and logged onto the teacher's computer, switching a few words around. And to top it off I hid a tray of whip cream under the teacher's desk cause let's face it, the teacher always takes off their shoes when they sit down, no one wants to walk 24 hours in those damned heels.
I smiled at my handiwork and proceeded to make my way to English. When I entered the classroom a few students were already seated, so I walked over to the window seat and took my place. I checked through the notifications on my phone and Storm entered a few moments later. He nodded curtly at me before taking a seat.
English passed by relatively slow but as soon as that darn bell rang, I sprinted out of class faster than I have ran for any PE tests. I couldn't help to hold in my laughter when I see Ms. Jill run – or should I say hobble – her way to the toilet with a foot covered in whip cream. I laughed harder when I hear students talking about how many people fell off their seats and the best part — when everyone walks out in pink glitter.
They look like hot pink disco balls.
Storm sighed and shot a glance at me as I doubled over in laughter. The speaker sounded and I immediately sobered up when they called my name.
"Ms. Rover please proceed to the principal's office. May I repeat, Ms. Rover please proceed to the principal's office. Thank you."
I kid you not, I nearly peed my pants. Storm patted me on the back before shrugging, hiding a secret smirk as he walked away. People started glancing my way and whispering but all I did was glare at them.
I mean, I've been there plenty of times before, what's there to laugh about?
I smiled at Kelly, who was the receptionist at the office, and she smiled back with a smirk, giving me a knowing look and I all but stuck my tongue out at her.
I pushed open the double doors that had the word office in big bold letters and went inside. The principle was a wise, slightly older man. He was understanding, kind, and you could also say one of the people who actually like me.
"Celest, how many times do I say not to play with glitter?" He sighed with a smile which I gladly returned before plopping down on the couch in his office. "Sure, make yourself at home, why don't you?" He said sarcastically and I laughed.
