❣ Celestine's POV ❣

"So remember, today. Skate Park." I told Jessyn as she nodded while sipping her fruit juice.

We heard another yell from the gym causing everyone to snap their attention there. Jackson came over with his bag slung over his shoulders as he raised and eyebrow at me and I smiled innocently.

"What did you do this time?" He questioned.

I placed my hand on my chest, "Who, me?" I foolishly jerked a thumb at myself.

He narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, waiting for my answer and I sighed in defeat.

"So I might or might not have replaced Axe spray with girl perfume and poked three other holes at the side so it would spray at all areas." I responded sheepishly when both Jackson and Jessyn were laughing their butts off.

The bell rung soon after. Me and Jessyn quickly grabbed our books and darted to English.

Everyone was talking in class waiting for the teacher to make her presence. All out heads snapped to the doorway when the smell of apple blossom flooded the room and in comes the boys. I was silently giggling when my eyes snapped to a set of blue-green ones.

That's right. I haven't spoken to Storm since well, almost 2 weeks ago? Ugh, there's no point anyways, he doesn't want anything to do with me. It's not like I like him in that way, but I know how it feels to be down all the time that's why I tried to help.

The teacher started with her class as she put everyone in a new seating arrangements. Groans echoed through the room when Ms. Joanna slammed a big wooden ruler to the desk, causing everyone to snap their mouths shut.

She scanned the class before she spoke, "Ms. Rover, please take a seat next to Mr. Winter." She said, leaving no room for arguments.

I opened my mouth and stared at her and closed my mouth, turning to look at Storm, who looked like he couldn't care less. I looked at Ms. Joanna, back at Storm, Ms. Joanna, back at Storm before sighing and walking over next to him and sat down.

She proceeded to change everyone's seating places around. I was silently praying she would change her mind and let me sit next to someone who wasn't so.. Cold.

When the bell finally rung, I grabbed my bag and darted out the classroom. Jessyn and Jackson hot on my tail as I pulled on my hood.

I felt someone grab my shoulder and turn me around. "Hey, slow down!"

"How? How am I going to stay out of his life now? What am I going to do?" I panicked. He's going to just be mean to me.

"Hey, it's okay. Just don't talk to him, okay?" Jackson tried to clam me down. Well, he needs to up his game.

I took a deep breath, "Yeah. Yeah, I could just ignore him." I said, trying to sound casual.

•••

This was not what I expected.

Currently, I'm at the skate park with Jessyn, Jackson and North. And when I say Jackson is good, I mean he's good.

He finished his stunt and ended it with a crouch and pressed on the end of the board to flick it up to his hands as he caught it.

He smiled before saying, "Your turn Celeste."

I groaned and picked up my skateboard and rode it up the ramp as I increased my speed and spun around. I landed somewhat gracefully and started going up and down the ramps.

I finished when I saw Jessyn and North with a wide mouth while Jackson had a smile. I smirked at them.

"Bet you didn't see that!" I said playfully and snapped two of my fingers and pointing a them with a wink.
