❣ Celestine's POV ❣
I woke up to the smell of bacon. Wait, moms not home. I didn't cook. What? Groggily, I peeled my eyes open and looked around. I could've sworn I'm home alone.
Quickly, I grabbed a baseball bat and a helmet and crept down the stairs. I approached the kitchen as I saw a figure.
I don't remember letting anyone in. I silently went up to it and tackled it to the floor as the figure groaned.
Oh shit.
"Storm?"
He groaned, "Why'd you tackle me?"
Realization hit me like a brick. I facepalmed, "I forgot you were here."
I looked over to see that his lips twitched a bit before I got up and pulled him up too.
He rubs the back of his head, "Uh, I made breakfast, as a thanks."
I smiled and grabbed 3 pieces and sat on the bar stool and ate in silence. And may I just say, he's a killer cook.
"Mm.. These are great." I laughed and looked at him. His expression was neutral as he gave me a curt nod.
After we finished eating, I cleaned up the place and head to my room to bathe. I lathered my hair with some strawberry shampoo and washed my body with a lemon scented one. I threw on a beanie and a long sleeved crop top with a pair of light wash skinny jeans.
My phone was ringing as I reached for it. I didn't even bother to look at the caller ID before answering.
"Hello?"
"Celest! I was thinking if we could prank Jackson?" I hear Jessyn on the other end.
I smiled evilly, "Of course! What do you have in mind?"
"I was thinking whip cream to the face."
"I'll plan out the details."
I hear her cheer, "Awesome. Call me when you do."
"Great, see you."
She thanked me repeatedly before hanging up, I chuckled. I went downstairs to see Storm looking at his phone screen with unshed tears in his eyes.
"Why would you do this to me?" He whispered softly and shuts off his phone, clutching his head.
"Hey, you okay?" I asked softly before sitting beside him. He looked at me and changed his expression to a stone one. He nodded before asking me a question.
"Have you ever fallen in love?" He asked harshly.
I pursed my lip and thought about it. I mean, I have a boyfriend. Do I like him? Yeah. But do I love him? Maybe.
I shrugged as he sighed and nodded. It was an awkward silence that spread between us before I broke it.
"Let's go and get some ice cream, yeah?" I smiled. He raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, come on! For the love of God, ice cream makes everything better." I threw my hands up and looked him when he nodded.
I smiled and grabbed his hand and my keys before hoping in the car and turning up the radio. Locked away by R. City and Adam Levine came on as I sang along.
If I got locked away,
And we lost it all today,
Tell me honestly,
Would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws,
If I couldn't be strong,
Tell me honestly,
Would you still love me the same?
