Celestine's POV

Come on, just a little bit further...

So close...

And...

Nope, I've got nothing.

Dammit.

"Jess!" I yelled from the bedroom area of the suite, knowing Jessyn would be pigging out in the kitchen area.

"What?" She grumbled and made her way into the room.

I pointed at the remote controller, "Get it for me?" I requested with an innocent look and a pout.

She scoffed. "Celestine, it's only one step away from you. It's on the night stand, for crying out loud!"

"One night stand too far." I sighed and then smirked at the pun I made.

She threw her arms up in frustration, "Unbelievable." Before obliging, tossing me the controller for the Tv.

"Thank you!" I shouted as she walked out of the room while flipping me the finger.

I giggled.

Now I know what you're thinking. Celestine, really? Well, for the sake of answering your question, yes really. But no, seriously, I was wrapped up in silk blankets, the room was the right temperature of cold to make me feel cozy under the covers. All in all, I was comfortable an I'm not moving a step to get a controller.

Currently I was enjoying the movies that the cruise provided in the suites. And hot damn for the guys in Magic Mike.

Before I could turn up the volume, my mother came out of the bathroom, dressed in one of her latest dress design. It was a long black dress with a halter top and a slit down the left side, showing off a bit of skin. Her blonde hair was nicely curled and she even had lipstick on.

"Woah mom, what's with the fancy dress?" I sat up straighter, curious as to why she was all dressed up.

She twirled around in a circle before putting her hands to her hips, "Do I look okay?"

"You look great, but why?" I raised a questioning eyebrow.

She picked up two of her silver hoop earrings from the night stand and attached it to her ear.

"Well, I might be going to dinner with someone." She trailed and before you knew it, I squealed.

"WHAT? WHO?" My eyes nearly popped out of it's socket. My mother was always too busy to go on dates with men. She's always either traveling, or caught up in meetings. It's crazy that one little vacation away and now she's all dressed up for a dinner. With an actual dude.

"Celest! What's wrong? I heard you scream." Jessyn and Jackson came running through the door, scanning the room before their eyes landed on mom and widening in shock.

"Woah Mrs. Rover, you look good." Jackson commented and nodded his head in approve.

"Yea, you look really elegant." Jessyn added.

"Thank you guys, but to your question, Celestine, it's a secret." She picked up her purse and winked at me before heading out the door.

"Have fun guys." She called over her shoulder before disappearing into the hallways.

"Well that was a surprise." I gaped at the still-open door before seeing two hands waving in front of my face.
