I felt my body churn as strong, brawny arms were wrapped around my limp body. I could feel my legs dangling off the ground as they swayed to and fro. My eyes fluttered open my eyes felt heavy and tired. My blurred vision made it hard to recognise the mysterious figure that carried me in their arms. I squinted my eyes slighty and my weary vision began to slowly soften until my sight was completely clear. I could see the canopy of the green bushy trees. The faint blue color in the sky showed a few tiny stars as they sparkled like diamonds.

"You're safe now, Amelia." spoke a vague, throaty voice. I rolled my head sluggishly, to face the peculiar person that had been carrying me.

"Orieus?" I questioned in a hoarse whisper. Orieus was such a great man, he cared for everyone, and loved everyone with passion. He would make a great dad one day. Dad.... Father...

Images of my father's death reappeared in my mind, and all I could think about was, that it was my fault for the cause of his death. He's gone, and it's my fault.

"Do not be filled with sorrow, dear one. Your father is now watching you from the Heavens," he reassured. "Just rest for now. You need it." I nodded slowly. I felt my body relax, clearing my mind from any thought and finally I was carried away into a light slumber.

I woke up still in Orieus' arms. The sun still hadn't fully risen, so I couldn't have slept for that long. "We have arrived at camp now. Would you like me to set you down?" Orieus asked. I could feel my body was still a bit weak but I shook it off and nodded in reply. Orieus let go of my legs slightly and carefully placed me onto the ground. Once I was back on two feet, I threw my arm around Orieus and began walking.... Okay Amelia it's not that hard, left foot- right foot- left foot- right foot. My legs weren't stable, I struggled to keep my legs from wearing out on me. The two of us slowly walked through camp, every head turned to me and gave me a sympathetic look. Some would apologize but I would give them a fake smile in return.

"I must go now, to speak with Peter and Edmund. Anna will take you to the infirmary and then get you dressed." Orieus said as another centaur trotted up towards me and took my by the hand. She must be Anna. She was very beautiful. Her features were very defined and slim, long, dark brown hair and warm, hazelnut eyes. I waved goodbye to Orieus, before Anna whisked me away to the infirmary.

"I am sorry to hear about your father. He was a good man," she reassured. I didn't bother to respond, I just stared blankly at the ground feeling guilty about what I had said to him. She guided me into a large, yellow tent and sat me into one of the uncomfortable wooden chairs. "Now, Let me check your head." She grabbed a wet cloth and dabbed it on my forehead. My head stung as a burning sensation ached through my head, causing me to feel very woozy .

"Ow." I gasped in pain.

"My apologies my queen. The wound isn't very big, but I could get some medicine that can heal your wound very quickly." She suggested.

"Thank you Anna. But please, call me Amelia." I told. Anna smiled, then rushed away quickly. As I waited I couldn't help but to think of father... what would have happened if none of this happened? What if Lucy never found the wardrobe?
A few moments later Anna rushed back, holding a flower and flask full of clear liquid.

She then sat down in front of me and studdied the items in front. "Because Amelia, you were created by flowers the only way to heal yourself is from the same flower. This flower is very rare in Narnia, it is called Eleanora," she explained. I was made by a flower? Guess you learn something new everyday.

Anna showed me the flower. It was very beautiful! There were so many petals that you couldn't even see the stamen. The soft petals were a gorgeous pink color, some petals were of a light shade and others were darker. I stared in awe. I had never seen a flower so captivating and so beautiful that it could carry you away into a dream and never wake up.

Anna then picked off the petals and placed each one onto my gash. "This might sting a little." she warned. Anna then opened the flask and poured the liquid carefully on top of the petals. It did sting, my head throbbed and tingles prickled through my veins. But then I felt a boost of energy, and I felt more alive than ever have. Anna smiled in accomplishment and wiped the petals off with a wet cloth. I reached my hand towards my head and traced my fingers across my forehead. I felt no blood or gash. My mouth dropped as my fingers dragged across my forehead in search for the gash, but no luck.

"Thank you Anna." I smiled.

"It was my pleasure. Now let's get you dressed for the battle," Anna told standing up, gesturing a hand. I took it gladly and we both walked side by side to the armory.

As I stepped into the armory, there was a long corridor. On the either side of the path, armor for the women hung on large hooks. But right at the end of corridor the shiniest armor stood horizontally, it could catch you attention from miles away just by glancing at it. "That is yours Amelia. We had it made specially for you," Anna pointed to the armor I had been gazing at "Oh and Amelia, we had your weapons sharpened not long ago."

"Thank you so much Anna for you hospitality." I thanked politely with a half courtesy. Anna bowed and loping off out of the armory.

After I was suited into my armor, I walked back to my tent and grabbed my sword, shield, bow and quiver that were laid neatly across my bed. I wrapped my sword belt around my waist and placed my quiver onto the other side of the belt, so I could have easy access to both of my weapons. I strolled out of my tent, to find father's men practicing their fighting, or sharpening their weapons. Walking through the see of soldiers, I tried to searched for Edmund and Peter. But I couldn't seem to find them. I felt slight tap on my thigh and turned around to be surprised my Mr. Beaver. "Good morning Mr. Beaver." I greeted.

"And to you. Look I am sorry 'bout ya' father. But Peter needs you urgently." he explained anxiously. I nodded and followed behind Mr Beaver as he trudged along.

Once Peter saw my approach, he ran up to me and embraced me into a tight hug. "I am so sorry Amelia." Peter chocked between tears.

"Please Peter do not mourn, I am fine; I know that he is safe now." I tried to stay strong. But whenever I mentioned my father I would get angry, not at him but myself and the Witch. I just wish that it was me being murdered and not him. Father had more important duties than me; he is more valuable to Narnia.

Peter gave a reassuring smile and spoke again. "Edmund, Orieus and I, were discussing about the war moments ago, and they both said that I hd to lead the army in battle, but I cannot do it alone. I need you to be there beside me, for I feel that these men aren't just mine to lead. But they are yours as well; you are the daughter of our leader. It's time for you to lead Narnia into battle."

"Peter I- I can't- l," I doubted loudly, but then softened my tone in a light whisper "And I fear I will lead your men to defeat,"

"You may not think. But I believe you can, and so do your soldiers. And Aslan believed you could. Narnia has faith in you Amelia." Peter told proudly. Now that is what you call a king.

I did not hesitate, as bursts of courage, powerful and faith leaped in my heart.

"I'll do it!"

A picture of the flowers are on the side! :)

I know this chapter is really short and I do apologize for it but I really wanted the war to be a chapter of its own.
And the war is pretty long, and it was my favorite part to write so please be ensure to read it when I update!!!
