I jump out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom and took a bath. I got out of the bathroom with a towel around me and my hair dripping. maybe early in the morning Kath already left.
" Samantha! " I heard dad's voice.He's here! yay!
I run down with only a towel to wrap myself. I didn't care anymore
"Dad!" I shouted as I sprinted down the stairs and I smashed my body into his for a hug
"why didn't you change?" he asked eyeing me
I looked down "oh" then I look up at him " you called me down right? well didn't see you yesterday for late hours in the clinic" I sighed
"oh okay, what's with the eyebags?" he pointed out the dark circle beneath my eyes and I immediately looked away
" restless nights" I muttered
"restless nights of--" before I could say anything my brother cut off
"of Brady dad" Stefan got out of his room wearing a formal suit and his dent lab gown.
"nights? Brady? restless?" dad narrowed his eyes
"what? no no no no no!" I shook my head
I looked away and I was holding back my tears " Brady and I broke up 4 days ago" I took a deep breath after wards.
"I'm so sorry honey" I rubbed my shoulder and I just gave him a weak smiled
"you're all set Samantha?" mom said putting on her dangling earrings
"why are you dressed up?" I asked mom then to Stefan then to dad "why are you all dressed up?" I asked again
" we're going to a conference today honey, for 2 days only but Stefan will be back this after noon" dad said looking at some papers
"Conference. okay" I pouted.
So my parents won't be here in two days. I feel sad I guess
"Go get change. meet us downstairs and we'll say our good byes okay?"
I raced back to my room and put on some clothing.
"sister, when are you going to speak Channel? he rolled his eyes then looked at my outfiit
"Speak what?" I asked
"Nevermind " he said even though he knows that I know what exactly we're talking about
" Samantha we're leaving" mom called from the doorstep and we rushed to her side
"Before we leave we have something to give you. one good and bad" dad smiled
"Okay? good first" I smiled
"Okay let's go" dad touched my back and lead us to the back door(garage)
Mom stood beside dad and opened the door. there parked a shiny black Cadillac ATS
my jaw dropped "you're giving me a car" I muttered not looking away
" yes we are. since your grades are amazing, your talents are worth it and your brother says you're a good girl" mom clap his hands while dad look satisfied with my response expression
" really?" he looked at Stefan and he wink at me
" thank you!" I hugged then 3
I lead them to the front porch
