Alarm goes off.

I turn over and look at my phone.

7:30 am "Pill"

"Oh shit! Where is it?" I quickly get up and stumble to the bathroom.

"Here it is." I stretch my arms and then take the pill with the water I have on my nightstand.

I open the blinds from my curtainless window and see that the sun is barely shining through the morning clouds.

"I think I'm going to start getting ready now." I say to myself.

I walk into the bathroom once again and turn on my Pandora to Top Country Hits.

"I'm going to buy some more cowboy boots." I think to myself.

I turn the water on for my shower and wait for it to get the right temperature. While I wait I check all of my social media accounts which are now basically my life line to everything back in Texas.

Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Nothing new.

I turn the music up and get in the shower.

20 minutes later.

I get out of the shower and wrap my hair in a towel and my body in another. I brush my teeth and then walk into my room and sit on the bed.

"No, Paige. Do not sit down and procrastinate." I tell myself.

I get up and pick out and outfit for the day. It seems sunny but I can hear wind. Soooo. Let's go with light washed jeans, folded up of course, a flowy blue shirt and high top white converse.

I look in the full body mirror. "Cute." I say aloud.

I move to the bathroom once again to do my hair and makeup. I throw my dirty-blonde wavy hair into a messy ponytail and start on my makeup. I only put on a small amount of powder and mascara as well as filling in my eyebrows.

"Baby lock the door and turn the lights down lowwww." I sing finishing up.

"Good enough." I let out with a sigh and grab my phone to turn off the music.

I grab my charger, headphones and chapstick and put them into my over-the-shoulder purse.

"Ugh I hate purses. Why can't I just use a wallet?" I trudge down the stairs.

Once I get to the bottom of the stairs I smell bacon. "Mom, is breakfast ready?" I ask nicely.

"Duh, you know I'm always up early." She replies.

"And I also know that you are always hungry as soon as you wake up." I laugh.

"Exactly so sit your ass down." She points to the table.

"Alrighty then." I take a seat.

Mom and I eat breakfast and then get ready to leave.

"My truck or your car?" I ask mom as we head to the door.

"Um. Your truck. I don't want to drive." She says.
