"Dude, where did that girl come from?" Adrian bounced.

"Who?" I stand in front of my locker and wipe my eyes.

"The girl who just stood up for me and called Bobbie a stuck up bitch." She replied quickly.

"Oh, that's my other personality, you know, the one that comes out once a month and tears everyone down around her?" I smirk lightly.

Adrian bursts out in a laugh. "God, this is why I love you."

"Well, good, I love you too my little lesbian best friend." I slip out.

"Best friend?" She repeats.

"Umm, yes. I think so. You've really shown me that this school is okay and not all full of stuck up bitches and snobby English teachers." I smile and close my locker.

"Aww, I'm so glad you're seeing this school the way that I do!" She semi-shouts and grabs me for a hug.

I hug her back and smile. "Okay, Adrian you're kinda strong and my stomach isn't here for it today, but catch me next week and you're going down."

"Alright hot stuff, I'll see you at lunch." She lightly slaps my shoulder and skips away to her first class.

Block One, Chemistry.

I walk into the room just before the bell rings for class to start.

"Hey Paige." Max waves from our lab table.

"Hey quarterback, what's up?" I sit next to him and pull out my journal.

"Nothing much. I heard you started a little thing with Bobbie." He smirks and looks at me.

"You heard, that I started it?" I giggle.

"Well, yeah." He blushes and tucks some hair behind his ear.

"Nope, she was bullying Adrian, so I stepped in and handled it, quite nicely might I add." I smile and take a drink of water.

"Shit, I like em' feisty." He imitates a tiger scratch.

"Fuck off quarterback." I hiss back.

"Alright, will do." Max moves away from me a little bit in a playful way.

"I didn't mean literally, dummy." I smirk and lay my head down near him.

45 minutes later.

"Miss Paige." I feel a tap on the desk next to my ear. "Miss Paige!"

"Um, yes?" I groan.

"You like to sleep in my class?" the teacher asks.

"That depends, were you actually teaching today?" I shoot back.

"That's very unprofessional missy." He stares at me.

"Whatever, are you gonna make me wake up? Send me to the office?" I suggest.

"With that attitude there's no telling where you'll end up." He snaps at me.

"Excuse me? Did you want to repeat that for the bitches in the back?" I sit up straight and cross my arms.

"Well..." he trails off.

"That's what I thought, sir. Now if you would, please continue your class and allow me to continue to mind my business, thank you very much." I shoo him away.

He turns and walks back to the front of the room rather slowly.

"Wow, what's gotten into you?" Max asks gently, after the explosion I had.

"I've come to the conclusion that God and Mother Nature are after me." I sigh and lay my head on his shoulder.

"Oh. I see. Um, goodnight?" He subtly moves to make me more comfortable.

"Thanks quarterback." I smile and doze off again.

I feel movement.

"Kitten, class just ended. It's time to go to our next class." Max gently moves me.

I groan. "Do you think everyone is done coming at me today?" I ask.

"There's no telling, but I'm sure you've got it if something goes down." He reassures me.

"Aww, what a charmer." I smile and gather my things.

"I'll see you at lunch after this class, alright, you and Adrian?" Max says.

"Right, lunch, see you there." I wipe my eyes and stand to leave.

I watch the teacher intensely the entire walk out. He doesn't seem to like that.

"Sir." I flip my hair and continue out of the door, letting it slam behind me.

Block Two, Art.

So, let's just say my arts elective in middle school did not count as an arts credit in this school. Now, this means that I, a Senior, am stuck with Freshman and Sophomores in this damn Art 1 class.

I stroll into the room and immediately hear loud, annoying, voices coming from every corner. I put my headphones in and grab my materials to work.

I continue this class not paying attention to anyone and focusing on my work because if I make this piece good enough to win the contest the school is holding, I can get my credit for this class after my first semester and I definitely need that.

Ring.

I hear the bell through my music while I'm putting up my things. I finish quickly and leave the room, heading to lunch.
