Kurt and Blaine are at Dalton and Kurt has intense feelings for Blaine and he is afraid Blaine doesn't notice. This takes place in the Valentine's Day episode, so I thought it would be a cute one to write around this time. Enjoy!!!

"Okay, I'm all for flair, but these Valentine's Day decorations are just tacky. I mean... what the hell is this supposed to be?" Kurt asked. He was holding up what appeared to be.... I can't even describe it. Just look above. Anyway, Blaine didn't know why he was so confused.

"It's clearly representing puppy love. It's cute. Come on." Blaine was a sucker for things like this. Can you blame him, though? He's basically a puppy himself. Kurt put it down after it made a noise.

"Oh! Okay, this is creepy," He said putting it down.

"Adorable," Blaine corrected. Kurt then ranted for about 3 minutes straight about how he thinks Valentine's Day is a commercial holiday and Blaine just flat out disagrees. "Not true! People have been celebrating Valentine's Day for centuries. And call me a hopeless romantic but... it's my favorite holiday," he explained.

"Really?" asked an amused Kurt Hummel. Blaine continued on.

"I think there's something really great about a day when you're encouraged to just lay it out on the line and say to somebody..., "I'm in love with you." Kurt stared blankly in the clean cut singer's liquid gold eyes. He felt his heart rapidly pound in his chest and he felt weak in his knees. He was so overwhelmed and taken aback by Blaine's statement. It was only an example though, but somehow, Kurt had forgotten that. "Right?" Blaine stopped talking when he saw Kurt was just staring at him, not blinking. "Uh, Kurt? You okay there? Kuuuuuurt? Hello, anybody home?" Blaine lightly shook him once he started getting concerned. This brought Kurt back to Earth.

"Huh? What? Oh sorry, Blaine. I must've zoned out. What were you saying?" Blaine sighed in relief and let out a small laugh.

"Well, I was just about to ask your opinion on something. So, there's this guy that I sorta....like, and I've only known him for a little while but I wanna tell him that I think my feelings for him are turning into something... deeper, and I wanna do something really radical so here's the question. Do you think it's too much to sing to somebody on Valentine's Day?" Blaine asked sincerely. Kurt's eyes swelled to the size of tennis balls. Was he talking about Kurt? He must have been. The older boy's face turned a very light shade of pink. All of the emotions inside of Kurt made him think a million things at once. His brain filled with panicked thoughts and exciting ones at the same time. He knew he had to calm down for now.

"Not at all," Kurt said nonchalantly. He quickly pulled himself together and approached the counter with Blaine. What he heard come out of Blaine's mouth astonished him. "You know my coffee order?" he asked.

"Of course I do." Blaine was certainly a lot of things. Handsome, sweet, a great singer. But most of all, he knows how to turn on the charm, and Kurt is really recognizing this now. He was sure he had just found a new favorite holiday.
