Something Just Like This

Logan's POV:

"Well I am very impressed with this proposal. I will have an answer for the both of you in a few days." Ryan says to Finn, and myself. The proposal went better then we planned, and I feel like i am on top of the world. These past 24 hours have been better than i ever hoped. I came to Paris two weeks ago for work, and i am leaving Paris finally happy after 9 years of being miserable. Finn, and I left the boardroom accordingly where we find ourselves in the lobby. "Holy fuck! We did it bro! We possibly got our business invested in by Ryan McMillon!" I say to him with a giant grin on my face. "Come on Logan; let's hug it out mate." He says pulling me into a hug, "We shall celebrate this evening." Finn says as we walk out of the building. "I'd love to Finn, but i have a date tonight." I say to him causing Finn to give me a smirk. "God i am hoping it is with Gilmore or i'll kick your ass." He says to me. "Of course it is with Rory. Who else would it be with?" I say elbowing him in side. "I don't know." Finn says as he walks towards the car. We get into the car, and i grab my phone to call my love. "Before you take Rory out for dinner; we need to have a drink." Finn says to me. I turn my head, and look at him. "Finn. The two of us have never been able to have just one drink. The fact that our livers have not given out proves how lucky we truly are. As much as i want to celebrate this; it is Rory's final night here in Paris, and i want to take her out." I say to him. "Understandable mate." He mumbles at me.

I find Rory's number, and call her. "Why hello Logan." Rory says causing me to smile. "Hey Ace. Finn, and i are in the car heading to our hotel." I explain. "Well i am in the cab heading to my hotel to start packing. Are we still on for dinner?" She asks me. "Of course. I'll get my driver to drop me off at your hotel." I say to her. I glance over at Finn, and he's smirking. "Sounds great. The cab just pulled up at my hotel so i'll see you soon Logan." She says then hangs up. "Finn i swear if you make a comment right now i'll hurt you." I say to him staring at him. Finn just laughed at me, and i shook my head at him. "Mr. Huntzberger. Where am i dropping you off?" Deacon our uber driver asks me. "The St. Carlton hotel please." I answer him. "Damn. The New York Star put Rory up in one of the nicest hotels. I am very impressed to be honest." Finn says as i rolled my eyes.

We arrive at the hotel where Rory was staying, and that is where i see it surrounded by ambulances, and police. My stomach drops as I immediately have a bad feeling, and i have a bad thoughts. I get out of the car, and run to see what happened, and that was where i saw the unthinkable. Rory was laying in the middle of the sidewalk, looking small, broken, and i am shattered. "What happened?" I ask one of the paramedics. "She was hit by a cab." They answered me. My heart, and stomach dropped because it was my fault. If i never called her; Rory never would've been distracted, and she wouldn't be laying on the sidewalk broken. The paramedics begin to move Rory, and place her in the ambulance to take her to the hospital. "I am coming with you." I say. "And who are you?" The paramedic asks. "I am her boyfriend." I answer climbing into the back of the ambulance.

"Ace. You are going to pull through this, and you know why? Because we have more memories to make, and we just reunited." I say to Rory while wiping away a tear. "I have plans for us to do together, Ace. We are going to get married one day, have babies, and just be together. So you need to hold on, and pull through this." I say to her kissing the top of her hand. That is when i feel Rory squeeze my hand, and she had her eyes staring at me. She looked so scared, and at that moment i lose all my emotions.
