Chapter 41

Y/N POV

Cold is all I felt when I awoke and saw that Ryan was no longer holding me. The sound of the hospital was barely audioable through the thick walls so I couldn't tell if he is just outside the room or not. I look around the dark room. Illuminated by the moonlight and the crack in the doorway, I can see Minx, Russ, Nick, Snake, Ken, and Jessica. No Ryan. Curiosity got the better of me as I flung my feet over the side of the bed, trying to be as quiet as possible. I pushed myself up and off the bed, setting my bare feet on the cold ground.  Carefully I maneuvered my way to the door, almost stepping on Russ's head in the process, I opened the door just enough to slip through.

The light was blinding as I exited the room, closing the door carefully behind me. As I adapted to the scene around me Nurses and Doctors rushed by me with a man covered in blood on a stretcher. He looked up at me, his eyes full of fear and a gaping wound in his abdomen. The doctors were giving orders and the nurses were struggling to fulfill their commands and the man just stared at me as he sped by, he seemed stuck in time, like he didn't fully understand what was happening. Like a deer in the headlights. I looked back at him and gave him a thumbs up. He smiled, shakily, and gave one back to me as he was rushed into another room.

A trail of blood covered the hallway, I made sure to step over it as I approached a women behind the counter, located in the waiting room section of my wing, in scrubs, sitting at a chair in front of a computer. As I approached she peered up at me over her glasses.

"May I help you?" She asks, not sounding very enthusiastic. I smile.

"Did you see a man walking through here-" I get out my phone and show her a picture of Ryan-"Looks like this?" She squints at my phone and smiles.

"Yeah, he has been practically living here, staying in that room over there, with his girlfriend. So romantic and so cute. I haven't seen her, mostly because she wasn't my patient, but I saw her when she first came in here, through the blood I could tell she was beautiful, a perfect match for him."

"Um...yeah, I'm kinda her." I say. She has a shocked look on her face, and looks me up and down. 

"Wow honey you look better than I ever thought you would." I smile.

"Thank you."

"Yeah, I have seen him. He went that way, out to the courtyard, I think." She said, pointing towards the elevator. I smile and thank her, before walking towards the elevator. The elevator was covered in blood, I tried to not step in the huge pool lying on the ground, failing and causing my feet to be covered in blood. I groaned and pressed the button to the floor to the courtyard. As I begin to walk out of the elevator I slip and fall into the blood.

"Are you kidding me!" I say. My butt is definitely gonna have a bruise. I get up and walk outside covered in blood, the smell of fresh air is beautiful and kinda cold, I spot Ryan, his handsome face and sharp cheekbones, and strong shoulders outlined by the light of his computer he held on his lap. I stand near a small garden light, just light enough to show my face and my body. After a while he pears up at me and his eyes grow wide. He shuts his computer and jumps up and runs to me.

"What happened?!" He whispers loudly.

"It isn't my blood." I say.

"Did you fucking murder someone?!"

"No, I slipped in the elevator because it was covered in blood." He sighed. And hugged me.

"No no you'll get blood on you too."

"I don't care,  if you really think that'll stop me from hugging you, you are sadly mistaken." He says smiling. I giggle.

"I love you so much." I say.He smiles wider, leans his head sideways and placed his lips on mine and kissed me, and he placed his hand on my cheek. I smile and kiss him back. He separates his lips from mine and places his head on mine.

"Y/N, I love you so so soooooooooo much too."

"I love you more." I say, sassily. He snickers and says.

"I love you most."

"Impossible."

"Possible."
