Chapter 48

Y/N POV

Beep beep beep beep

I wake up and find Ryan lying in a chair next to me, his hand in mine, and his dark hair going in every direction. His laptop lying on his lap still open. I smile and reach over and run my hand through his hair, its soft strands going effortlessly through my fingers. His eyes flutter open and he smiles when he sees me.

"Good morning." He says stretching, knocking his laptop to the ground. I move my hands back on my lap and readjust myself on my bed in a more comfortable position. I look around the room and see that everyone has gone and it's just Ryan and I. 

"Where is everyone?" I ask.

"They went to Mcdonalds and told me to call them when your awake. Do you want anything there?"

"Uh...what time is it?" I grab my phone off the nightstand next to me. 8:43. 

"I think there gonna bring me food." I say, talking about the nurses.

"Probably. So that's a no?"

"Nah get me hotcakes and bacon." He smiles and gets up. Leans over and places his warm lips on my forehead. Butterflies flew through my stomach and I could tell I was blushing when he did that little smirk he does. 

"Stoooop." I whined.

"Stop what?" He said sitting down and taking out his phone.

"Stop doing that little sexy smirk you do whenever I blush."

"Why?"

"Cause it's embarrassing."

"Embarrassing? What blushing?"

"Yes." He kisses my hand and smiles.

"Y/N, you look so freaking adorable when you blush. It's nothing to be embarrassed of at all, if anything it's something you should show off, because it just proves how perfect you are."

I blushed more and was about to hide my face when Ryan grabbed my hands and kissed them both. Then grabbed his phone again and held it up to his ear, still smirking. I turned towards him, and crossed my legs so I was looking at him and facing him. The phone rang 3 times before Nick answered. Ryan told him to get hotcakes with bacon.

"Aren't you gonna get anything?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Hun, you should get something to eat." 

"I'm okay." The look on my face must have changed his mind because he sighed and said.

"Fine. Get 2 of those." I smiled and reach across, grabbed the collars of his flannel and pulled him to me, kissing him softly.

"Ryan? Are you dying? Hello? Did you bring a condom?" I could hear Nick say. Ryan shot backwards and his face was bright red. I laughed, but I could tell I was red too.

"Nick shut up!" He said. I heard Nick laughing. And then he must have said or done something to make Ryan laugh.  

"Alright, bye." He said, still laughing. I raised an eyebrow at him and he smiled. Stood up and and picked me up by my arm pits, I wrapped my arms and legs around him, hugging him super tight. His hands slipped down to my waist and hugged me back. 

"I love you, my little spider monkey." he said softly.

"Oh now your quoting Twilight?" I asked mockingly.

"Yep. I am." he said chuckling.
