Chapter 50

CRY POV

Snake was sitting at a table in the corner of the play area. His eyes glued to his phone. He'd occasionally look up but rarely said anything. Russ, upon arriving, went immediately to Jessica, leaning against the wall next to Snake, who smiled widely, revealing her straight, super white teeth. She was pretty but nothing compared to Y/N. Ken and Minx were racing each other down these blue and red slides that went from the top of the play ground, to the bottom. When Minx won she'd jump in the air and scream victoriously, while Ken scurried back up the slide. Nick and I looked at each other then sprinted towards the play ground.

"This is my fort!" I declared, upon reaching the top. Ken, who silently scurried up the slide again, grabbed my ankle.

"You will never be king of me PEASANT!" he screamed while allowing himself to slide down the slide, taking me off my feet and pulling me down with him. Upon reaching the bottom, Ken didn't move out of the way so I whammed into him, causing him to fall backwards and knocking over a chair. Nick laughed his butt off at the top.

"Look at all of those weaklings down there! My they are an ugly pair." He said, in a royal, stuck up tone. I smiled when I heard Minx's laugh coming from the top of the slide. Nick yelled as he disappeared and reappeared at the bottom of the slide. 

"Welcome fellow weakling." Snake said peaking up over his phone.  I laughed and raced nick back up the slide, and was forced down again and again. This lasted a good 45 minutes before the employees walked over to us and asked us to leave. Nick was at the top of the slide and screamed down at the lady, who was explaining to me why we had to leave.

"WHOSE THAT GORGEOUS MAIDEN YOU'RE TALKING TO SIR RYAN?!" He yelled down. Her face turned bright red. She was kinda pretty. Blue eyes, freckles, red hair. Her name tag said Juliet. 

"Tis is Lady Juliet!" I yelled back. He grins.

"But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun!" I chuckle, as he acts as if he is Romeo, saying each one of these words. I look at Juliet and she laughs at me. 

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing. Tell your friend to get down here." I motion for him to come down. He gives me a thumbs up and then slides down the slide.

"Can I get your number?" Nick asks her.

"Yes." I said. Nick punches my arm.

"Not you, this beautiful maiden." She blushes and nods her head. He takes out his phone and pauses. His smile drops.

"What?" I ask. He clears his throat. 

"Nothing." He says.
