"Miss Garcia? Miss Garcia, dear?"

My eyes flew open, staring at the white wood of the desk in front of me. I rolled over on my back, looking up to see one of the maids, Sarah, hovering over me with worry drawn on her face.

The memories from last night rushed back to me and my eyes widened. It wasn't a dream. Alexander had kissed me.

"Are you alright, dear?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah." I sat up and ran my fingers through my hair. "I must have fallen asleep."

"Breakfast has been prepared in the dining room." She informed me.

The dining room? Oh, right. The Andersons were still there.

"Thank you Sarah." I said, releasing her. She left without a word.

When I got up to my room, I peeled my dress off and walked into the bathroom, running a bath. I used the black soap that I had bought when visiting Spain, watching the black, swirling through the water and the black suds blooming above. Grabbing my macbook, I went to my playlist, hitting shuffle. Robyn Sherwell resounded through the speakers, relaxing me.

I walked to my private closet, making circles with my nose as I cracked my neck and massaged the tendons. My arms flew up in a stretch as I went through the door in the back of the closet and stepped out onto the granite floor. I slowly stretched as I walked into the room, sitting the macbook onto the small stool with fluid movements. My head moved in time with the beat and my body moved like a snake. I breathed and center myself, closing my eyes. Once they were opened again, I stared at myself in the mirrored wall, then I began to dance.

I let go of all my worries and all my cares. I didn't focus on yesterday or tomorrow. It was only the way my body felt in that moment, pushing my limits of flexibility and strength. He was off my mind for that moment.

After my workout and my soaking, I dressed myself in my silk white pajama pants, tank top and robe, then made my way downstairs to the east wing. In the dining room, where food was displayed down the table, I found my friends among the Andersons and Andrea. Andrea...

She was sporting a dark burgundy dress and drenched with makeup and tanning lotion. There was no chance of envying her. I had no idea why I was so...in shock last night and so upset. It was definitely not worth it. He went to college. Of course he would meet another girl. There were probably many more he had in his possession.

Those brown topaz stones locked me in my place. I bit my lip, remembering last night. Alexander... the man.

I went around the table to Mrs. Anderson to give her a good morning peck on the cheek and Mr. Anderson a hug before sitting beside Luciana. Alexanders eyes didn't leave my presence. When I looked up from putting my cloth down on my lap, his eyes were brightly blinding me. I didn't even need the morning sun anymore. He was all I needed.

"How'd you sleep dear?" Asked Mrs. Anderson.

I smiled lightly to her. "Pleasantly. It's a great morning." I sighed with my smile still plastered on my face as I rolled some of the fruit into the bowl in front of me. I grabbed a biscuit as well and without missing a beat, I bit into it. One of the morning servers came around, pouring chi tea into the teacup sat out for me.

"Gracias." I said, before he walked away. "How is everyone's morning? I hope you all slept well. I'm sorry my parents aren't able to make it to breakfast this morning." I began to start conversation.

"Great! I never slept so great Lina!" Diana exclaimed. "I love all the toiletries in the guest rooms. The body scrub in the green room is marvelous."

I smiled at her and listened to others glorify their stay at my family's estate. I looked at Andrea after a few others spoke. After popping a strawberry into my mouth and chewing I asked her. "And you Andrea?"

"Oh it was nice. Thank you for allowing us to stay."

Us?

I smiled and just stared at her.

"Oh, I don't think anyone allowed you to stay anywhere."

I choked on the grape that I had been eating when I heard Maria's voice. God, she had no filter.

"Maria." I said with my best stern tone.

"No, really. You just showed up." She gave the women a fake smile and turned to Diana laughing. "Like, who does that?"

"And how awful of you, Alex to bring her, allowing her to crash Lina's party." I heard Luciana say.

Oh. God.

"Ladies, plus ones are allowed. It's fine." Mrs. Anderson corrected them.

"Yeah...its... fine." I shrugged.

"Lina, you're not obligated to be cordial to party crashers." Diana crooned.

"Guys, really... it's okay." I stambered. I just wanted a calm morning.

"Well, her tanning lotion is not. Honey, would you like me to blend your makeup for you. Maybe then I could try and respect you." Maria sneered at Andrea.

    Andreas eyes grew.

My jaw was probably hitting the table.

"Lina, I need to speak with you."

His authoritative voice boomed over the chaos. We had a stare off, his jewels commanding me to move. I got up and went out of the dining room, as if in a trance.

"What's with your friends." He asked me when we were out of earshot of the others.

This was the first time he had really spoken to me.

I shrugged and looked down but his fingers pulled my face back up by my chin. I had no choice but to stare into my Kryptonite. My breath hitched in my chest.

"They're just protecting me." I mumbled.

    "Get them under control."

My eyes turned to frozen lily pads. "Are you kidding me?"

He was not commanding me to do something for this woman's sake. How dare him.

"They are out of line." He whispered, but his quiet voice held more power. Any other person, it would cause them to shrink and bow but it only boiled me.

How dare he use that tone with me.

"You are out of line." My glare pinned him to that moment. I wanted him but I also wanted my hand to bruise his face. He really just crossed the line with me.

I stormed off to my room shaking in my robe.

That bastard. For the first time in forever I was allowing this to affect me. I slammed my door and stood against it trying to collect my breathing.

    It wasn't working.

I pushed against the door, getting my macbook and sat it on my desk as I sat as well. I pulled the white clothing off all the way down to my black lingerie and uploaded BARE. It glowed and my heart pumped in anticipation. Once the video diary was recording I began to vent for the first time on my blog.
