Part Six: Surprises and Celebrities

I'm back in Canada now. My plane just landed and we are getting our bags. I'm super anxious because my mom kept telling me she had a big surprise for me.

 Me, my mom and Makayla go to where my mom parked the car. She hasn't really said much to me. She's being weird. 

"Is your mom okay?" Makayla says concerned. "She seems nervous" 

" I don't know, I guess I'll find out sooner or later." I shrug my shoulders. 

"So did you guys have fun?" My mom finally says.

"Yeah after I signed all the contracts and met everyone, we went and spent the rest of our time touring the city." I say

"We went to the Satue of Liberty and evrything!" Makayla says and then she starts telling my mom about the trip. When she gets to the part about Shawn I kinda smile and blush. Whoa! Why am I blushing? 

*ding ding* My phone buzzes. I look and it's Brian. 

Brian😎: Hey have you landed?

Lexi🤓: Yeah I'm on my way home now. Why?

Brian😎: I was just wondering. I kinda have something to tell you. It's kind of funny. Well at least I think it's funny.

"Lexi" My mom is looking at me through the rear view mirror. Makayla had taken the front seat. 

"Yes?" 

"I asked you if you like the studio?" I didn't even hear her the first time. "Take a break from your phone and talk to me." Makayla laughed and I stuck my young out at her. 

"Yes ma, just let me say bye to Brian." She nods and then I text him back.

Lexi🤓: You'll have to tell me your funny story later because I have to go. Peace out Girl Scout! ✌🏽️ 

Brian😎: But it's important!!!! 

I didn't respond to him after that. He's probably going to tell me about a new camera he got or something. 

We dropped off Makayla and headed home. There was an awkward silence for a bit between me and my mom.

"So what did you do while I was gone?" I asked as we came to a stop light.

"Nothing really. I worked, cleaned and just went to the store a few times." 

"Woah! Sounds like you had a crazy fun time!" I said sarcastically and we both started laughing. We got to my house and my mom helped me with my bags. I walked inside the house went upstairs to put my stuff away. I am super tired from my flight and all I wanna do is sleep. 

I walk into my room and to my surprise I see Grace sitting on my bed. 

"Grace?" I say surprised 

"Hey! Aren't you happy to see me?" 

To be honest I'm not exactly thrilled to see her. What does she think? That she can just not talk to me for almost a month and then come and act like everything is okay? I'm not going to tell her that though. I just can't. 

"No, I am happy. I'm just surprised and super tired." I give her a weak laugh and she comes to hug me. 

"Well then you get some rest and we can talk later. Mom has a surprise for you" she said

"Wait. I thought you were the surprise." I thought that my sister coming here was suppose to be my surprise. 

"No I don't think so. She was planning this before I came." She shrugged her shoulders and walked out of the room. Okay now I'm really confused.
