Part Twenty Four: Graduation Day

I woke up in a very good mood this morning despite everything that happened last night. Today is the day that I say goodbye to school! 

Right now I'm finishing up getting ready. I have on a pretty blush pink dress that comes to my knees and I have my tan wedges on with it. I curled my hair and my mom did my makeup because I was too lazy.

I grabbed my cap and gown and went downstairs so we could leave.

"Are you ready mija?" My mom said grabbing her purse.

"Oh yeah! I am so excited!" I said and clapped my hands together.

"Alright let's go!" Nate said opening the door for me and my mom.

We all got in the car and drove to the school. When we arrived we found a parking spot and got off. I walked in and my mom and Nate went to find their seats. 

When I walked in I was greet d by a lot of people, even people who never even talked to me before. I took some pictures with some people and signed some autographs. I found Mak and we went to the bathroom to fix ourselves up a little. 

"Ahh! I can't wait to walk across that stage and take my diploma and then leave this crappy place!" Mak said.

"Hey Pine Ridge isn't crappy, it's just some of the people are crappy." I said and slipped on my gown. I placed my cap on my head and waited for Mak to finish up.

"Alright I'm finished. Let's go find everyone else." She said.

I went and was walking around looking for Matt. He had to go early this morning to do something, he wouldn't tell me what it was. He said he would be here though. 

"Where is Matt? Do you see him?" I said looking around.

"No but I do see your other lover boy." Mak said pointing at Shawn.

I looked and saw him and Brian walking towards us.

"Hey!" Mak said and then hugged Brian. Shawn came and gave me a big hug.

"You ready to graduate?" He asked me and I nodded. We both looked at Brian and Mak and they were all flirty with eachother.

"So when did this happened?" Shawn asked and they both turned red.

"Well we haven't made it official, but we've been talking for a week." Mak said.

"And you didn't tell me this why?" I asked and raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well I was going to, but I thought you'd think it was weird or something." She said and I rolled my eyes and laughed.

We all went and found our seats and I kept looking around to see if Matt was here yet.

"Do you know where he is?" Shawn said. He knew I was looking for Matt.

"No, but he said he would be here." I said and then turned back around.

"It's okay, you have me." He said and grabbed my hand. I blushed and smiled at him.

I got up and went and found where Mak was because she had gotten up to talk to her parents. I really needed to know what she wa going to tell me last night.

"Mak! I need you to finish telling me what you were going to say last night." I said.

We walked over to where there wasn't a lot of people.

"Well after you told me what you liked in both of them it was very clear who you obviously really love." She said.

"Okay and who would that be?"
