Part Ten: Ruined Plans and Making Moves

So it's been a few days since me and Shawn last hung out. We have both been very busy. I'm already writing songs for my album. I wrote three and recorded them already.  I've also recorded a few singles that will be released soon.

Even though I've been doing lots of things all I can think about is Shawn. What do I do? How do I know if he feels the same? It's not like I can just come out and say 'Hey Shawn I like you, Do you like me too?' This isn't fifth grade. I wish it were still that easy.

Right now I'm just hanging out at the Studio because I finished my work and I have nothing better to do. The studio has a room for the artists to take their breaks and just hang out. 

It has a huge flatscreen tv, a fridge that's always full of food and drinks, and lots of bean bags and a big couch. There is a pool table and ping pong and stuff like that too.

Even with all of this cool stuff I just feel like laying on the couch and doing nothing. I wonder what Shawn is doing? No stop Lexi. You need to stop thinking about him so much. You're  being creepy.

I was snapped out of thought by someone I was not expecting. 

"You okay there?" I heard a voice say as they entered the room. I turned to see who it was and I nearly crapped myself.

"Your... Your Nick Jones." I said but I relized I had whispered instead. Way to look like a weirdo Lexi!

"Yeah that's me! You must be Lexi, I've heard a lot about you. Your an amazing singer." He said coming to sit next to me. OMG Nick Jones just said I was an amazing singer!!! Play it cool Lexi. Play it cool.

"Thanks, your an amazing singer too! I've actually been a fan since the Jonas Brothers." I laughed trying to hide the fact that I was about to pee from excitement.

"Yeah those were the good old days." He said like an old man and then we both started laughing.

We talked about why the Jonas Brothers broke up and about his career. He gave me some really great advice too. I told him how I got discovered and about all the people I'm meeting. 

We talked about family and friends too and then he got a little bit serious.

"So if you don't mind me asking, what was it that you were thinking  about when I came in. It looked like it was really bothering you." He looked at me really concerned.

I know I just met him, but I feel like I can trust him. Plus I really need to talk to someone about this. I would talk to my mom, but she is busy with work and probably planning my birthday which is in a couple of weeks.

"Well... It's just that there is this someone that I've been spending some time with. At first I thought we were just friends, but now I realize that I really like him the thing is I don't t know how he feels." I feel my face getting kind of hot.

"Oh well, I think what you need to do is just start dropping hints that your into him. If he does the same or flirts back then there's one sign that he likes you. If he finds any reason to be near you or just to talk or hang with you then there's another sign." 

"Thanks, I'll definitely try that." I said laughing a bit.

"Besides, Shawn is a great guy." He said getting up off the couch.

"Umm how do you know I was talking about Shawn?" This is so weird.

"Well I just figured. I saw the pictures of you guys and stuff on social media. You guys are trending." He laughed but I had no idea what he was talking about. I've been so busy these past few days that I haven't been able to get on social media.
