Part Eleven: Concerts and Confessions

Okay so just to let you know the story is going to fast forward a bit from here.

So tomorrow I have my first concert and it's also going to be my birthday. Thank God the producers asked Shawn to open for me because now he can be there with me to help.

Alice told me not to go out today because she wants me to get plenty of rest for tomorrow. Right now I'm just lying in my bed scrolling through Instagram. I found this really interesting fan page for Shawn. I decided to follow the account and then I heard a knock at the door.

I went and looked through the peep hole and I see Shawn standing on the other side holding a pizza in his hand. Crap! What am I going to do?

"Umm coming just a minute." I say running into the bathroom. I look like a mess. I'm wearing sweatpants and Pine Ridge sweatshirt that I had bought a while back.

I sprayed on some perfume and took my hair out if it's bun. I flipped my hair a couple of times and then answered the door.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I said casually while letting Shawn in.

"Well I thought since you can't go anywhere tonight we could chill out here. It's always good to have a bit of fun before a concert." He laughed and set the pizza down on the small table that was in the room.

"Why are you so out of breath?" Shawn said looking at me a little bit weird.

"Oh well I was umm.. I was doing squats!" I said the first thing that came to mind. Really Lexi? Squats?

"Okay then, get ready to eat back the calories you just lost because I brought pizza!" He said handing me a slice.

We sat down on the bed and watched some tv and talked.

"Do you have games on your phone?" He said grabbing my phone. He started putting in the password when I remembered I still had that fan page open on Instagram. He's gonna think I'm crazy!

"Wait!" I said snatching my phone out of his hands.

"Hey I was about to play games." He started reaching for the phone but I wouldn't give it to him. I tried clearing the tab before he saw.

"Just hold on!" I said laughing. He started tickling me and we both ended up falling off the bed.

I ended up landing on top of Shawn and we just layed there looking into each other's eyes. I noticed he started to lean in and so did I. Is this really happening?

Finally our lips clashed together and we kissed. It was so deep and it felt so right. You know when they say you feel fireworks? Well I was feeling a full explosion of fireworks.

I finally pulled away and we both got up of the ground.

"Sooo..We should probably talk about what just happened." Shawn said with a big smile on his face.

"Yeah we should." I laughed and then sat back down on the bed.

"Lexi I want you to know that I really like you. I don't think I have ever felt the way I feel about you." He said pacing back and forth. I was blushing like crazy.

"Shawn.." I tried talking but he cut me off.

"Wait, let me finish. From the first time I saw you I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world. Then I got to really know you and your personality makes you even more beautiful."

"Shawn..." I tried talking again but he wasn't finished talking.

"Wait I'm almost finished." He then squatted down in front of me and grabbed my hands. "Lexi Smith, you are always on my mind and I don't know what to do about it. I want you to know that I will always be here for you."
