Part Nine: The Interview

"Okay so your going to go out there and just be as natural as possible. This is a live interview so watch what you say. Are you ready?" Alice asked while adjusting the small mic attached to my dress. 

"Yeah I'm ready!" I look over her shoulder and see Shawn give me a thumbs up. I'm so glad he's here, he is so supportive. 

"And now please give a warm welcome to Lexi Smith!" Said the interview lady. Wait I don't know her name! What do I do? 

I quickly turn our around and ask what her name is. And luckily I got a quick answer.

"Natasha!" I hear someone shout. I let out a sigh of relief and walked out.

I answered a few questions about how I was discovered and why I love music. I was really nervous, but I felt comfortable doing this. 

"Alright now before we go, the question that everyone is asking is... Do you have a special someone in your life?" Natasha leaned in closer to me from her chair.

" No I do not, sorry. I am very single!" I say laughing. 

"Well, are you interested in anyone?" 

I look around because now I'm feeling a little bit awkward. I don't think I'm interested in anyone. Am I?

"No, not that I know of" I awkwardly laugh. Just when I thought she was going to ask another question my time was up. Thank the Lord!

I thanked Natahsa for having me and then I was guided backstage. Where I was met with a warm hug.

"You did great! I'm so proud of you." I hear Shawn whisper to me. Hearing that gave me goosebumps. 

"Thanks you, I wouldn't have been able to do it without your advice." I say slightly pulling away just enough to look into his eyes. We stood there smiling at eachother like we always seem to be doing. 

"Umm.. Is there something here that I don't know about?" Alice says walking up to us with a smirk on her face. 

"I don't know what you mean." I say pulling away from Shawn. 

"Sure. Alright, let's go get you out of these clothes and to the the hotel." We turned around and started to walk away. For some reason I ran back to Shawn and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you so much again." I say before turning around and running back to Alice. Why did I just do that?

~Shawn's POV~

As soon I saw Lexi come back stage I couldn't help but engulf her in a hug. 

"You did great! I'm so proud of you." I whispered to her. I really was proud of her. 

"Thank you, I wouldn't have been able to do it without your advice." She said pulling away slightly. She looked at me with her big,brown,beautiful eyes of hers. We stood there for a minuet not saying anything.

"Umm... Is there something here that I don't know about?" Alice asked as she was walking up to us. That's when Lexi pulled away from me. Dang it Alice. 

"I don't know what you mean." Lexi answered her quickly. Alice pulled her away to go an get changed. I was about to leave when Lexi came running back.  She came and kissed me on my cheek, and I started to feel my face get hot.

"Thank you so much again" she said before running back to Alice.

I seriously think I'm developing feeling for Lexi. I don't know how she feels about me though. Earlier she called said I was a good friend. It felt a little weird because I want to be more than friends. I'm going to just have to wait and see what happens.
