Sophie's POV
My brother is a kindhearted person, but he can be oblivious to what is happening around him. Take me for an example, he doesn't know that his friend likes to say and do whatever he wants to me then threatens me not to tell anyone. I'm sick of it; I want it to stop so much. School helps though, especially when he goes to college. I want to spend time with my brother, but I don't want to be around his friends. My dad doesn't know either. He thinks my brother's friends don't even speak to me. Jokes on him.
I slowly get out of bed and stumble towards the bathroom. After doing my business, I head down to the kitchen. I eat cereal in silence.
This is kind of nice, eating cereal alone in the kitchen. I shake my head. I really need some friends. Oh yeah, that's right. I can't talk to them anymore. Great, I get to go back to being a loner.
I head up to my room after putting my dishes away.
What should I wear today? Well, it's a Monday so I think a lazy day is what I need. I decide to wear a pink long sleeve school t-shirt, black Nike shorts, and black flip flops.
The school day was just like any other day, not good, but not bad either. It is my last class of the day and I am counting down the minutes until I leave. 15 minutes left just 15 minutes.
"Attention students, this is Hunter, your fellow classmate. I'm here to tell you to please report to the auditorium right now for a mini concert."
Oh no. What are they up to?
My class starts to get up and hurry out the door. The teacher tries to stop them, but they keep on going. I quickly run out the room before the teacher can stop me.
"Sophie?" The teacher asks as I'm in the doorway.
Dang it. "Yes?" I turn around and face him.
"Will you help me with something really quick?"
"Sure," I answer. I would rather go down stairs to see what the band is up to though.
"Okay. Great. How do I put a video in PowerPoint?"
I quickly show him how to do it and rush down to the auditorium.
"Sophie Green, please report to the office immediately." Hunter says through the speakers.
I groan and head to the office. I push the door open and Hunter grabs my hand.
"Are you ready for a mini concert?" He asks me with a smile.
"I guess. I don't really know what's going on."
"You will soon, Sophie." He leads me into the auditorium and makes me sit in the front row. I see a seat with my name on it.
"Did you do this?" I ask him pointing to the seat.
"Nope," he grins, "But that is your seat. Go ahead and get comfortable."
"Okay." I take the paper off the seat and sit down. I flip it over and it has 'I hope you like this. – A'. (... Pretty Little Liars reference....? Haha maybe..)
The entire student body starts clapping and I look up. The band steps out onto the stage. Ace goes up to the front microphone. "Thank you all for coming. I know all of you have been curious about my band so, now you can actually hear us." Clapping erupts and Ace waits until it settles down. "But this is for a certain girl." Girls in the audience awed. "Sophie, I am going to find a way to talk to you one way or another so, this is for you."
His eyes stayed glued to mine the entire time he spoke and I didn't look away. I smile at him and say, "I wouldn't want it any other way." I don't know if he heard me or not, but it is the truth.
They started singing Ed Sheeran songs. After 3 songs, they stopped. "This is the last song for today. Hunter will make an announcement everyday this week at the same time for a mini concert from us." The audience erupts in claps and screams of excitement. The band starts playing Shape of You.
