Chapter Seven-Riley

Riley

"You guys had it tough. I'm pretty sure all of us did. I mean Carson you watched your father kill your mom and you found your ex and best friend dead. Laney you saw your mother eating your dad and thinking she was crying and then killed her. I had to do both I watched my little sister get bit and eventually turn and I killed both my parents. But I think we where supposed to be here together." I speak up.
Laney looks at me with confusion.
"What are you talking about?" She asks. I sigh and start to tell my story.
*flashback*
I'm walking to the park to clear my head. My sister stormed out, my parents crying, I left not bothering to deal with all their problems. I sigh sitting on the bench. I glance over to a girl about my age sitting by a tree. Her head jerks up with confusion and fear in her eyes. I am then confused wondering why she is fearful then I hear a scream and see a man eating a woman. I glance back over to her but shes already gone. I decide to the same and start to run home. I get home and I see my parents have already become one of those things. I run upstairs to Jenna, my little sister. I see her crying at least I hope she is. I walk up to her and ask. "Are you ok Jenna?" She shakes her no. She then turns around and shows me the bite. Tears start to form in my eyes as I see the bite.
"Uhm. O-okay well we can make it. I'll take care if you. N-now let's go." I say. She nods and gets up. We walk down the stairs.
"Stay here. And be quiet." She nods again. I then I grab the emergency bat and take it to moms and dads heads. They fall to the ground I hit them a couple more times before their heads are bashed into the floor. I grab Jenna and proceed to leave.
"Don't look." I tell her. She burries her face into my chest.
A couple days later I check up on Jenna.
"Jenna are you okay?" I asked. She growl at me and I'm horrified by the sight. I start to cry. I grab the bat and try to beat her but I can't. I can't bring myself to do it so I just leave.
*flashback over*
"That's the last time I saw her. I know I said killed her by I couldn't." I bring my head down to shame.
"I'm pretty sure she's still in the house I left her in." I say tears brimming my eyes. Laney leans over to hug. I hug her back needing one.
"I feel you man. I couldn't kill my girlfriend well fiancé. We where actually about to married that day." James says. We all look at him to continue.
He sighs and continues, "I also agree with Riley. I saw all of you including you Nate." He says. And he starts his story.
