Laney
After Carsons story I ask.
"So you watched this whole thing break out?" She sighs and nods. And I continue, "I did to."
*flashback*
I sigh walking out of my house leaving my parents to argue once more. Most of the time I can't even get out of the house without my father hitting me. Today I got lucky. My parents used to be so happy and now they fight constantly. I see a group of kids about my age walking down the sidewalk across the street, two girls and a boy. The girl on the far side had short blonde hair, the girl in the middle had brunette hair that is in the middle of her back, and the boy well he looked like a boy. I laugh at how ridiculous they're being but that's how best friends are.
I walk to the park and sit on the swings thinking how my life could be so much better and what my future will look like but instead I heard screams and panic in the air. I look up to see a man eating a woman not sexually either literally eating her. I jump out of the swing and run home.
Once get home I run through the door. I see my mom crying over dad.
"Mom? Mom? We need to go. We need to go now!" I yelled at her. "Mom? Mommy? Are you okay?" I ask. I take a step closer only to be greeted by a disgusting monster. I start to cry. Knowing what I have to do I take a kitchen knife and stab her repeatedly. After I know he's gone I sit by her body and cry.
*flaskback over*
"I stayed in the house for about three months before I decided to leave. And Carson those three kids I saw where you, Kayla, and Andrew." I sigh and shake my head trying to get the memory out of my head.
"You guys had it tough. I'm pretty sure all of us did. I mean Carson you watched your father kill your mom and you found your ex and best friend dead. Laney you saw your mother eating your dad and thinking she was crying and then killed her. I had to do both I watched my little sister get bit and eventually turn and I killed both my parents. But I think we where supposed to be here together." Riley speaks up.
I look at Riley with confusion.
"What are you talking about?" I ask. He sighs and starts to tell his story.
Riley's story is next. Two more chapters of them telling their story and then back on their adventure
