Chapter Sixteen

I saw Damien go down, I tried to get a clear shot but I couldn't. I went down and kicked the bitch off him. I pulled him up and before I knew it he shot a zombie in the head behind me.
"Thanks kid. Now get back to where you were." He said. I nodded then went back to my post. I seen Carson trying to fight off more than three at a time. I shot five of them, she then looked up and nodded in appreciation. I nodded back and got back to what I was doing. Though, I didn't notice one running at me from behind.

I heard it behind me. I had turned around just in time before it got me. I couldn't shoot it so I took out my 11" MTECH MX-8054 and stabbed him through the head. After he hits the ground I pull my knife out of his head and check if I got bit or scratched. After not seeing any injuries I barricade the roof door.
"Evacuate the area!! There's a horde ahead! Move. Move. Move!" I hear Damien yell.
"Dammit!" I say under my breath. "Damien I can't go anywhere! There's horde on the other side of the door!" I yell out to him.
"You're gonna have to jump kid! That's the only way out! Let's go!" He tells me.
"Shit." I say to myself. I back up a few feet to get a running start. I run and jump. I expect to hit the ground but I never do. Instead I open my eyes to see Damien.
"There kid." He says and puts me down.
"Thanks. Now...FUCKING RUN!" I yell. We run until we get to the doors.
"Holy shit we made it." I say in relief. I turn to Damien and say. " thanks man."
"It was no problem. A life for a life." He replies. I swear I seen him wink as he turned his back to me.

Damien (I know a new person POV)

To start out I'm gay. I know a gay soldier, SHOCKING. I'm Closeted gay though. And let me tell you when I saw Riley, holy shit I felt like I had purpose in this fucked up world. After he shot that deado, damn that was the hottest thing ever. Then after that thing got on the roof with him my heart stopped. I couldn't stop fighting. I had to keep going. I couldn't stop and keep an eye on him, that is what will myself killed. When I looked up again he was barricading the door. As long as he's safe. Looking forward I see there's a horde heading our way.
"Evacuate the area!! There's a horde ahead! Move. Move. Move!" I yell.

I see him jump. I swear all time stops when he does that. I run to where he's going to land and I catch him.
"There kid." I say and put him down.
"Thanks. Now...FUCKING RUN!" He yells. We run until we get to the doors.
"Holy shit we made it." He says in relief. He turns to Me and says. " thanks man."
"It was no problem. A life for a life." I reply.  I wink at him as I turn my back to him. He saw it. Well damn.

I know I know I'm slacking! So there's a plot twist that I myself didn't know was going to happen. I just got to writing and this happened. Anyway I'll try to update regularly. Try to there is not guarantee that I will. Anyway hope you enjoyed. Love you all
