MADDIE'S POV

God, it's been a year since I've left London. Reasons why had to go back home, Eric was sick. He was diagnosed with cancer. He went through the chemo therapy for months, now he's cancer free!! I guess you could say it runs in the family, because when I was younger my grandma died of cancer, and my grandpa is battling it. But anyways, here I am now nearly 19 years old, standing outside of Disneyland! I haven't talked to Liam very much, every once in awhile. But I guess you could say our relationship could be over... I just don't want to think that. So I'm just thinking that it isn't over yet. I don't want it to be. We talked a lot while my brother was in hospital. Liam was the only one who could keep calm actually. We'd both stay up late talking about it, talking about us. I didn't know when I was going to be coming back, he wanted to come visit me, but he just got too busy. Which is understandable being a British popstar....

You know that feeling you get when you just kind of need to disappear? Nothing was going as planned? Well that was me right now. Wanting to disappear from the world. I couldn't take it. I loved my brother, but seeing him go through that was heart wrenching, I couldn't watch another family member die. Not like that. Not even in a whole year, I just couldn't lose him, not just yet.

I was meeting up with some friends outside of the park, my friends from California where I did some college visits.

"Ready Maddie?" Hanna called from in front of me.

"Yes!"

It was hot inside the park, but nothing like shorts and a crop top and vans. We were walking around until I got lost. Yup classic me, getting trapped in the 'Happiest Place on Earth' well if that's what you want to call it, having pedophiles in costumes taking pictures with you. Kinda creepy actually.

LIAM'S POV

I've been anxious to get out of London, just a vacation with the boys. We finished the music video and were in LA for a break.

"Can we go Disneyland?" Niall asked looking up from his phone.

"Whatever Niall. Sure!" I smiled. Really all I wanted to do was visit Maddie. We haven't spoken in awhile, I feel really bad, I wish I could help. But it's hard, this long distance relationship. Trust was one of the issues, I know she didn't even think about seeing guys, but me, I guess I kind of forgot. It just happened... I hooked up with Danielle.

"We're here!!!" Niall was running around the park.

"Hey! You're going to blow our cover!!" I scolded, Niall stopped running all of a sudden.

"Um. Niall? What is it?" He took off his sunglasses and looked toward the girl walking around next to Splash Mountain.

"Is that-" I took my sunglasses off, bad move.

"OH MY GOD IT'S LIAM PAYNE!" Someone shouted, "OH MY GOD IT'S ONE DIRECTION!" The girl turned around.

MADDIE'S POV

I swear I just heard someone say Liam Payne, but I am obviously dreaming. God it's hot out here. I need to get some water! I walked passed one of the restaurants and went inside, grabbed a water and came back out. There was a huge crowd off in the distance, hm, must be Mickey Mouse. Pedophile. Then I heard that same Irish accent I haven't heard in a year. I started walking toward the crowd, but was stopped when someone tugged on my arm.

"Hi Hanna!" I said turning around.

"Hey, what's that big crowd over there?"

"I don't know actually!" She was about to say something but then bolted the other way.

"Sorry gotta go look for Laura, bye!" Okay that was odd. I continued walking passed the crowd when I spotted that same plaid shirt I wore when we were home. He started to look this way but I booked it.

LIAM'S POV

Oh my, did I just see who I thought I saw? Maddie?

"Niall, I'll be right back... I gotta use the loo..." Terrible liar Liam, just terrible! Maddie was walking toward the Cinderella castle when she stopped to take a photo, I forgot how beautiful she was, and what an amazing photographer she was too. I put on my glasses and walked up to her, covering her eyes.

"Hey beautiful!"

MADDIE'S POV

I turned around slowly, I could recognize that voice from anywhere.

"LIAM!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. God I've just missed him so much.

"Oh my God, what are you doing here?" I asked not breaking away from the hug.

"Well we had the week off, and we wanted to come down to LA for awhile. And Niall insisted on coming to Disneyland!" I  laughed at that.

"Oh Niall! Typical!" I giggled as he chuckled.

"So Maddie, what are you doing here?" He asked her as we started walking back toward the group.

"I just had to get away from my sad life, so 'Happiest Place on Earth' was stuck in my mind. I haven't been since before my sister and parents were killed. I took Eva for her 15th birthday. Just us. Just going through the memories." I looked up at him, "Liam, I've missed you. I'm sorry I've broken away from the contact, it was just super hard." He looked at me sympathetically,

"I understand kind of. It's just hard. I just don't like seeing you going through the pain."

"I guess I'm used to it..." I trailed off when I was mobbed by four other boys, backing up into Liam.

LIAM'S POV

Well, here I am squished between Maddie and the lads,

"I've missed you boys!" She smiled.

"Oh my God Maddie! Don't leave us again! We've missed you!" Niall stated looking at her.

"Well I have plan in mind." She stated quietly. She whispered something to Niall who pulled me away from the group for a second. Maddie was in the middle of the boys talking to them.

"Oh that's perfect! He'll love it!"

"CURLY!" She shouted.

"Sorry. But he'll be happy! He hasn't been the same since you left." I heard him whisper oh too loudly.
