POV~~ Allison
It turns out we live in the same complex, but she's on a higher floor. How cool is that?
When she finally got here we called for pizza with the money my mom left me and got to know each other. She was super funny and a great person we talked for hours. We also planned that we would go shopping tomorrow, Friday after school. I'm now reconsidering the whole friend thing: Tori is the opposite of Addison (my ex-best friend) and will never betray me. Maybe Queens is not that bad after all.
The school day dragged on but finally ended and instead of going home with Rick I went to the store with Tori.
"First stop Starbucks!" Tori exclaims.
I order a cappuccino and she orders a hot chocolate. We then head to Victoria's Secret/ PINK. When we get there I buy 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and the fluffy slides that they have. Tori got the same thing but different shirts and pants, same slides though.
We then go to Applebee's for some food, Tori loves Applebee's. The waiter sits us down then leaves.
"So what do you think about Rick? Do you like him?" she asks
"I don't know. Yes, he's cute; but I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now."
"Ally I don't know if you realize but I think he likes you. The way he looks at you, it's pretty obvious." I laugh at her comment; someone like him liking me sounds ridiculous.
"Ally I'm serious pay attention to his body language next time you see him."
Then I realize I can see him tonight. I look at my phone, it is already 7 pm, the game starts at 8:00.
"Wanna go to the football game?" I ask. She then smiles at my comment knowing what I mean.
"Absolutely." She says nodding her head
"But first let's eat!" She says as the waiter places our food on the table.
POV~~ Rick
"I hope she shows," I tell my best friend Andrew who also is on the team.
"Man, you told me about her but you won't tell me her name; why not?" He asks
"Because she doesn't know I like her. And she also doesn't like the extra attention."
"Wow man, she sounds like she's boring."
"She is very far from boring."
"OKAY, BOYS IT'S GO TIME IN 10 MINUTES LET'S GO!" My coach says.
"Good luck out there today man," Andrew says as he walks towards the coach's voice.
"You too!" I call out.
I unlock my phone going to Ally's contact deciding on whether or not to call her. But I decide not to bother her, and I walk over to my coach.
The game starts and at halftime, we are winning 20-12. Before I go into the locker room to get a drink I see Allison in the bleachers with Tori. I wave to them and send Ally a wink when they looked my way she blushed and waved back. My day just got a whole lot better.
We won the game 26-20; I was so proud of my team. I ran over to Allison and gave her a big embrace. I told her I wanted to ask her something after I get changed then ran to the locker room.
I found Ally by the entrance to the field and ran over to her, Tori was gone so I assumed she went to the car.
"Hey, Ally!" I call out getting her attention, she turns her head in my direction and smiles. My heart jumps.
"Hey, you played great tonight! What did you need to ask me?" she asks.
"Thank you! I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out, maybe tomorrow? Only if that is good for you though." She giggles at my comment.
"I'd love to hang out with you tomorrow. Pick me up at 7:00 pm?"
"I'll be there! Do you need me to drive you home?"
"No Tori's in the car, you can walk me over though." She smiles and her eyes sparkle. I almost reach for her and kiss her lips but my brain tells my body no.
"Absolutely." We start walking over to the car and I wrap my arm over her shoulder smiling like a goof.
When we get to the car we wave goodbye and go our separate ways.
7:00 pm Rick, don't forget. Don't mess this up.
