POV~ Allison
"Please let me explain, I need to explain."
"Leave me alone!" I yell
"You obviously want Jenny. What is there to explain?" I state.
"I DONT WANT JENNY! I WANT YOU! I want you." My jaw drops, I'm dumbfounded at what he just said.
"What?" I ask. My face softens.
"I said I want you, only you; no one else." He says as he steps closer.
"Your kidding, right?"
"No" I took a step back from surprise.
Why me? Out of all the girls in the school he wants me. A hundred thoughts run through my head; I do like him. But can I trust him?
"Allison are you okay?" He asks as he pulls me into reality.
As I look around people are staring, they now know what is going on and want drama, everyone knows about the other night because Jenny basically told the whole school.
Then I do the best thing I can do, run. I run all the way home and I don't stop till I get there. I run to my room and scream into my pillow. How did my life go from a nobody to somebody in a matter of days?
I text Tori and tell her I walked home and apologized for leaving her. I shut off my phone then take a nap, trying to get away from today's events.
When I wake my mom is sitting on my bed.
"Hey, mom your home early." I yawn.
She laughs "No I'm not honey, it is 7:00 already."
I shoot up "oh my goodness! It's seven o'clock already?!"
"Honey your friend Tori came by the house and told me that you needed to tell me something; What is it?" I roll my eyes; I love Tori but she shouldn't but into my personal life.
"Today in school someone told me they liked me and I ran away, no big deal." I shrug.
My mother's eyes open wide "What did you say? Do you like him? Who is he--"
"MOM! Relax. I didn't know what to do or how I felt so I just ran, people were staring and I was confused."
"Do you like him?"
"I don't know. As I said, I'm confused."
I then tell her in full detail about what happened last night and after school. She looked upset that I went through this but in the end, she told me one thing:
"If you like him go after him, give it a shot. I can't guarantee that what happened between your father and me won't happen to you, but you cannot live in fear from it." She kissed me on the forehead then walked out.
I text Rick: Hey, sorry about before. Can you come to my place? I want to tell you something.
Rick: okay ill be there in 10.
I smile, things are about to look a lot better.
