POV~ Rick
I couldn't believe myself. I made a mistake, a terrible mistake. Now the woman I like alot is hurt because of my careless actions. I feel like shit, honestly, Allison doesn't deserve a guy like me. She deserves someone who is determined to be with her and won't do what I did.
I drove Jenny home after that and explained to her parents how she ended up with me. They thanked me and I went home. Our parents are very close due to our financial status and our father's business; So they were glad she found me and not some other stranger.
I then drove home. My penthouse was empty due to the fact my father is on a business trip for the week so it's just me. I couldn't sleep, my thoughts were haunting me and I couldn't take it so I went to my last resort: drinking my feelings away. I grabbed the bottle of tequila from my counter and started drinking and didn't stop... until I passed out on the floor. Now to the present; I have a terrible hangover.
My mind replays last night's events over and over again, Ally's face when she saw us, and how much Jenny was craving me, it was crazy! But I don't even like Jenny, I like Allison.
I take an Advil and then go to Andrew's house to tell him the events of the night before.
"Dude you really messed up this time." He says after I'm done explaining.
"You think I don't know that?!" I exclaim.
"Well, what are you going to do?"
"I don't know," I sigh "I missed my chance because I was upset. Now I'm done, I'll never get it again."
"Dude I'm not the love doctor but I'm gonna give you one piece of advice. If you like her that much go after her. You only live once right?" He says.
"Heh, if only it was that easy."
"If only life was that easy man."
I stayed over his house for the rest of the day and slept over. In the morning I texted Allison that I want to talk to her after school but she never answered. Then Andrew and I went to school.
POV ~ Allison
Text from Rick- Hey Ally wanna meet after school and talk about last night? I really need to explain.
Ugh, why would he even try to contact me? I'm not even going to answer him. Tori drove me to school today; last night Tori saw me crying out in the hallway so she made me explain what happened. She told me that things will get better and he is just a jerk. I thanked her and gave her a big hug, I realized something last night: you need friends, even if they don't last a lifetime. For now, Tori is my friend and I need her and she needs me.
When we get to the school I say goodbye to Tori and head to my locker. The rest of the day was a lot of work and sometimes I saw Rick but I just pretended not to see him. Then when I was walking to Tori's car after school that's when he caught up to me.
"Hey, Allison wait up!" He shouts. Before I could stop him he grabs my arm and turns me around.
